I have nothing to say, but I am sorry for the late update -_-'
Juvias POV
Juvia pushes the book away, a nervousness settling over her. She saw Lucy putting the cookies in the oven, encouraging the two girls to join Juvia in the living room."Would you two like to draw?" Juvia asked, trying to smile as brightly as normal- it came out timid, but the girls didn't notice.
"Yes please!"
Juvia left the girls colouring as she moved towards Lucy. The other must have seen something in her face, because she stood taller.
"Where did Lucy get this book?" Juvia asked, gesturing to the book in her hands.
"Levy lent it to me." Lucy began, "it's from her own library; the celestial guide to the spirits of the moon and sun."
Juvia's face scrunched in worry, and Lucy immediately felt a cold shiver down her spine. Juvia opened to the first page, reading quietly out loud:
"The sun and moon, forever apart, forbidden to land, damned to be alone, never free."
"What does that mean?" Lucy asked, her eyes averting towards the girls happily drawing before moving back to the book.
"Nothing good." Juvia summarised. "Since they've been in town, people have been loosing magic, their energy. Or they end up on the other end of the spectrum and have immense power."
"Does it say anything else?" Lucy takes the book into her own arms, her eyes skimming the pages.
"Here. It reads, 'the two celestial were banished to the sky, never to meet nor fall to Earthland in fear of death... the celestial decreed to make it a law, and those who break it are to be punished."
"We should talk to the celestial spirits." Juvia looked at Lucy.
"Well, maybe we could ask the celestial spirits tomorrow. Though, if the strange magic the guilds are hunting are these girls. We need to protect them."
"I know, but how do we keep them safe from the guilds? The magic community?" Lucy looked defeated.
"Until we know what we're dealing with..." Juvia began. "Maybe we should stay away from the guild?"
"Are you crazy? We can't just leave the guild. What did you think we were gonna do, just leave and hope for the best?"
"I'm sorry Lucy, but what do you think they are going to do when they find out that the source of the power surges are here?"
"So what? We pack a bag?" Lucy looked at Juvia as if she'd groan a head. "You know if we told the guild, explained what's happening..."
"What happens if something bad happens?" Juvia didn't want to leave her precious Gray-sama behind. Even less after the kiss, but she need him safe. "If we can't work out what to do? We won't be the only ones in danger."
Lucy's POV
I didn't want to admit it, but Juvia was right. If we couldn't figure out how to fix this, then what would we do?"You're right." I sighed, collapsing against the wall besides me. "Besides, if it was only Fairy Tail's decision we may have been safe, but the magic council won't let us protect them."
Juvia moves to sit beside me, her hand coming to rest on my upper arm in support. The two sat like that for a moment, their eyes watching the two girls drawing with crayons in the living room.
This girls were snapped out of their musings when the timer went off; the cookies were done. The girls came racing over, jumping into our arms in excitement.
"Can we have the cookies?"
"Of course," I stood walking over the oven. Once I was able to pull the cookies out, I turned back to look at the three trailing behind me.
"How do you guys feel about going to the spirit world?"
