(back inside Jeremy's head)

"Okay, we have his body, now we just need to voltage to reanimate it...can you two go outside and check to see if he's got the voltage yet?" Winston asked and the twins nodded, snapping in sync and vanishing from the mindscape, quickly returning.

"Michael and Christine are on their way to get it. Jeremy's still on his bed." Keira explained, and Winston nodded, looking back down at the comatose Eric laying on the mental version of Jeremy's bed.

"Alright...I'm gonna need to be alone when he gets it. You two can do whatever you want for now." The two nodded and left the room, closing the door and leaving Winston alone with Eric. "Don't worry Eric. You'll be fine...I promise I'll make it up to you..." ... "You were very brave to do what you did...risking your life not only for Jeremy but us too. I didn't think you'd ever do that for us. I didn't think you ever cared enough...guess I was wrong. And I thought I was right. I mean you said it yourself that I was right about you before...but now... God I just feel bad for letting you die. I mean, I didn't think you'd literally kill yourself and put Jeremy in my care. But I'll admit, you were smart. Salvaging what code you could to save the others...I'm sure they miss you. I miss you...Jeremy misses you, and Shane, he's been crying since he found out you were gone. I guess I didn't see how close you were. I mean you're complete opposites, he's caring, emotional, and doesn't know how to do wrong. You...were emotionless and just ran off of data for so long. You were like two separate ideas. Emotions versus facts, but you... you got better. You're more than facts now. You understand things...and you understood how to get rid of those antiviruses...even if at the expense of your own life...and I would've stopped you but I wasn't paying attention...I was trying to descramble the code you'd sent me and now I feel like it's my fault you're gone...my fault that you did that...I don't know why I feel that way...I could've stopped you...I could've...but I didn't...I didn't stop you...and I feel like shit...and I miss you..." Winston was crying now, even if he knew Eric wouldn't respond to him, he still couldn't help but talk to him.

Did he...he did. He thought of Eric like a troublesome little sibling and with him gone, it was very quiet. They fought more than anything else but Winston missed it. He missed the fighting and he missed the way Eric would act superior than the rest of them. He missed the cocky Squip he was realizing was like his own brother.

He missed having Eric around. He missed it all. It didn't feel right with Eric gone and he wanted that feeling of loneliness gone. He thought he'd enjoy the peace more...but he didn't. He couldn't. No way could he enjoy Eric not being around...

"We're ba-" Michael gently pushed Christine out of the way to kick the door down and scream an all too familiar inside joke between him and Jeremy.

"Michael makes an entrance! And I brought the Voltage." He laughed as he tossed it to Jeremy, who smiled and quickly opened it.

'Shane. Go back in my head and tell Winston I'm about to drink the Voltage, alright?'

"Okay."

Jeremy waited for Shane do disappear before starting to chug the Voltage. It was different than both Red and normal. It didn't hurt to down like those had. Instead it was kind of the opposite effect. Like it was healing, maybe because his Squips were regaining life because of it.

Michael pulled out another bottle in case Jeremy needed it, handing it to him as he continued downing the Voltage.

***

"Winston Jeremy's...oh you already know." Shane appeared to see Winston was glowing a bit as he worked. He was recreating a life force for Eric, and it seemed to be working. He was about halfway done.

"Shane I'm gonna need Jeremy to drink more. It's at 55 percent, I need it to be 100 in order for Eric to be himself. Can you go back and tell him this?"

"Okay."

***

Jeremy felt pixels appearing next to him and seen Shane.

"Jeremy, Winston needs you to drink another Voltage. It should be enough to bring Eric back." Jeremy nodded, taking the second Voltage and slowly starting to chug it. Shane watched in anticipation before heading back inside to see Winston was still working on Eric.

***

"He's almost done...Shane...I think I'm gonna need the room to be evacuated for this to work okay?"

"Okay, I'll go find Sal and Keira...oh... Winston?"

"Yeah?"

"Please bring Eric back."

"I will." Shane smiled at Winston before leaving the room. Winston checked back on Eric's "vitals" and smiled to see it was almost at 100... "You'll be okay Eric. You'll be okay...I promise..." Winston heard a beep and seen it had hit 100 percent.

He took the coding and formed what looked like a human heart out of it, and he gently sat it above Eric's chest, watching as it faded inside and became one with the body.

His fingers were crossed as he watched the blue sparks of electricity fly from the heart to Eric's limbs and his conduction collar and wrist pieces.

The circuitry marks on Eric's body were beginning to glow a bright blue, before slowly losing that brightness and returning to their normalz slightly glowing look.

His hands twitched a bit before he sat up in confusion, putting a hand on his chest and freezing.

"I'm...I'm not dead...Winston...did you-"

"You're okay!!" Winston brought Eric into a tight hug, crying as he held him close. "It worked...the Voltage worked...you're alive. You're... You're you..."

"Wait, Voltage... Mountain Dew Voltage?"

"Mmhm."

"How did I not realize that would bring me back.....wait...is Shane okay!?" Eric pushed Winston off in a frantic rush to find the mentally youngest Squip.

He found him in the kitchen with Sal, who was painting Shane's nails.

"Shane...holy shit...you're okay." Shane looked up, his eyes watery as he teleported over to Eric and tackled him on to the ground in tears.

"Eric I-I didn't think you'd come back...I didn't think it would actually work...I didn't...I really didn't...also...you look different." Eric froze at Shane's comment before looking down at his clothes.

Instead of a suit with rolled up sleeves, he was wearing a blue button up shirt and a black vest above it., and to top it all off, a bright blue tie resting outside the vest.

He smiled. Winston must've changed the coding of his clothes before recreating him. And he didn't mind. It was nice...kind of like his own personal upgrade.
