(timeskip: first day of senior year)
"Jeremy. You're gonna be late for school." Eric poked Jeremy's head until he sat up.
"I'm up Eric, I'm up. Where are the others?"
"Winston has just got done organizing your folders, Sal is waiting for you in the bathroom to fix your hair, and Keira has picked out your wardrobe. Shane is just being himself, and you've got approximately 10 minutes to get ready."
"Shit." Jeremy got out of bed and grabbed his outfit first.
"I got ya something fashionable yet comfortable. Whaddya think?" Keira asked and Jeremy buttoned up the blue shirt and smiled.
"I like it." He then headed to the bathroom and brushed his teeth while Sal fixed his hair. By the end it was curly and shine.
"Flawless. Now don't put anything on that head okay?"
"Okay Sal...what's that look for?"
"C'mere, you don't look lively enough for the first day of your last year of school." Sal grabbed blush off the sink's countertop and gently dusted Jeremy's cheeks. "There. Now you got little less than 7 minutes. So you need to grab your breakfast, backpack, and shows, and get to school. You got students to blow away with that hair of yours."
"Okay. Thanks Sal." Jeremy left the bathroom and found his shoes, pulling them on and tying them quickly. He then grabbed his red backpack amdafe his way downstairs to see his dad at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee.
"Sport were you talking to yourself again?"
"Dad I told you, I'm talking to the voices in my head. You know, the computers."
"I know son, I'm messing with you."
"I know. I can't believe I'm a senior." Jeremy smiled as he prepared himself a bowl of cereal and milk, and making a cup of strawberry milk.
"You're still living with your old man too. That's what's funny and unbelievable."
"Dad I'm not leaving for college any time soon. Not until Michael does." Jeremy didn't take long to finish the cereal, as he was a rather fast eater.
"I'm proud of you Jeremy. You've gotten yourself together since last year. You already look like you're ready for the adult world...just don't tell others you talk to super computers in your head."
"Quantum computers. And trust me, I'm still mentally an awkward teenager who has so much acne it could kill somebody."
"You better get going Private. Bus will be here soon."
"I dunno if I'm taking the bus this morning." Jeremy smiled as he cleaned the bowl out and sat it in the sink. "I think I'm gonna walk. Just because."
"Alright, you do you. Love you son. Oh before you go lemme get a picture of your first day of senior year."
"Okay dad, and I love you too." Jeremy got against the door and posed for his dad to take a photo of him with his camera. "I'll see you when I get home."
"Alright. Bye sport."
"Bye." Jeremy left the house and took in a breath, hopping down the stairs and making his way to Middleborough highschool.
"I can't believe it's been almost a year since we showed up. Can you believe it Jeremy?" Shane asked, not even bothering to use gravity as he floated next to the teenager.
'No I can't. I thought I'd never reactivate Eric to begin with, but you have proven to be a lot of help for me. I'm glad I accidentally brought you guys into my life.' Jeremy thought, and the five Squips all smiled at him in sentiment.
"You've been through a lot Jeremy, and I just want you to know we're all proud of you. Not many people would be able to survive with five to seven voices in their heads. Not many would keep us around." Winston put a hand on Jeremy's shoulder and took a sip out of the manifested '#1 Squip Dad' mug he'd come to love.
'What can I say except silence is boring. And you guys are family. I couldn't just deactivate you. I'm glad I got stuck with you.'
"Jeremy. We're glad we got stuck with you too." Eric spoke softer than he had the year before, which is something Jeremy had noticed. It was actually quite pleasant.
"Hey it's your boyfriend at ten o'clock." Sal pointed to Michael, who was sitting against the school wall playing a DS.
"Micha!!" Jeremy waved and the taller male removed his headphones and smiled as he seen Jeremy.
"Hey Jere, you look really nice."
"Thanks. But you know I didn't put the outfit together." Jeremy grabbed Michael's hand as he put the DS away and Michael nodded.
"Keira did. Right?"
"Mmhm."
"So we're seniors now."
"And you don't look any different. Except that you're wearing a new hoodie."
"I couldn't get into the other one anymore. My step brother is gonna start wearing it when he gets old enough to fit inside." Michael pulled his phone out and looked at the picture of his step brother, George, or Sal as he goes by, trying to wear the patch covered hoodie. "Of course I'm gonna decorate this hoodie soon."
"Yeah it looks weird, you not wearing patches."
"Well you aren't exactly wearing your normal attire." Michael smirked and Jeremy rolled his eyes and punched his arm.
"Can it Micha."
"My God you guys are pure. They're pure. Aren't they?" Shane giggled and the rest of the Squips agreed, which got a smile out of Jeremy.
"So, did Chris tell you how her trip to New York went?" Michael asked and Jeremy shook his head.
"I think she's gonna tell us today...oh well speak of the devil, there she is. Christine!"
"Jeremy! Michael! Oh my God I have so much to tell you guys." She ran over and began rambling about how she'd gotten to see multiple musicals, the best one being Hamilton clearly.
"That sounds like fun. How's your cousin?" Jeremy asked and she pulled out her phone and showed Jeremy a picture of Nick in an orangey red wig, round classes, and a shirt that was white with green sleeves and a gray stripe thing around the collar.
Next to him was Dustin, who was wearing a black wig with white on the front, and his entire outfit was black with gray and gold decorations. His right(out left) arm was painted gray and had little lines across the joints.
"They went to a cosplay convention and dressed as Pidge and Shiro. I still have no clue why they're so obsessed with that cartoon but they are." Christine giggled and Michael and Jeremy nodded as they all made their way to their first class, which they all got together.
"Let's not tell them we hacked the school files to change their schedules." Keira said, filing her nails and chuckling.
"I mean Jeremy knows. Let's just hope they never find out."
