Fundamentals of Magick

This book is not a story, and it is not something to be taken lightly. I am an experienced witch of five years and I am going to compile helpful information on occult subjects and turn it into a guide on how to change your reality. If you found this book, there's a big chance that you didn't actually find this book; but that it found you. Proceed with caution and an open mind.

The following excerpt as well as other portions of this book will be written by me, whereas others will be copied and cited from other sources. The following things are essential to successfully conduct magick, they may sound extremely simple, however if you do not fully possess all of the things I am about to list, doing magick will be impossible.

1.) Belief. I do believe this is the hardest thing to gain. You have to trust yourself and the universe. You have to trust that there is magick, and that you are capable of changing your reality. You have to open your mind to the fact that there is so much more to this world and universe than your eyes can not see. If you doubt yourself one bit, what you are doing will not work. The easiest way to remind yourself that magick is real is to close your eyes and open your heart. When you close your eyes, let the material world around you fade away. Imagine your heart opening, then breathe in and feel the magick inside of you. It is already there, you just have to make yourself aware of it. Once you truly believe in magick, you will be gifted with confirmations of strange things happening around you. You will be surrounded with coincidences that are too coincidental, and will give your belief in magick a strong foundation. But first, you have to believe. Belief without evidence is faith, and it is required for the universe to recognize you as a soul worthy of witnessing magick.

2.) Will. Your will has to be so strong that it alone can create or destroy. Your will is tied to your solar plexus. Having a strong enough will means wanting something to happen so badly, that the universe bends to meet your needs. A lot of people hold this power, but don't know how to direct it. Think about it this way~ your will has to be stronger than reality. You have to summon your will from within you and push it out of your body.

3.) Visualization. You must see what you want to happen in your mind's eye. You must see it clearly. Once you visualize exactly what you want to happen, you push your will into the vision of what you desire. There are many methods of doing this, but we will discuss that later in the book. Being able to perfectly visualize things is heavily dependent on the health of your third eye, or Anja chakra. Each chakra has a special place in magick and in daily mundane life, therefore it is extremely helpful to take 5-15 minutes every day to clear and empower your chakras through meditation.

4.) Intention. Your intention is what you intend to happen, it is the desired outcome. It is what you have to visualize happening. If your intent is to heal someone, you wouldn't use materials that are commonly used to curse. You have to be very thoughtful in ritual or when casting a spell. I personally make my spells into a full blown ritual, but there are some small things I do that can be considered just a spell. When you do a ritual, you are making a sacred space, clearing your energy of negativity beforehand so you're in the right mind space, being very mindful of what materials you use, and everything you do is calculated. I would suggest doing a ritual instead of just a spell for something important, because you can fill your ritual with your intent which will help shape and bend the energy you conjure to accomplish your specific purpose. You also need to be very clear about your intention. You can not be vague with your intention, or you will get a vague outcome.

So to sum it all up~ first, you need to believe and not doubt yourself. Second, you need to decide on your intent. Third, you need to visualize what you want to happen, and lastly you need to push your will into the vision of what you desire.
