Finally

What's Going On?

It has been two weeks since the gun shot incident at Selena's birthday party. I am still wondering where that gunshot came from and I'm not gonna stop. I've been going around the neighbourhood to see if there was any unusual tension in the air between people in the neighbourhood. I still haven't found anything. The most unusual thing I saw was Mrs. McLusky (who hated marshmallows and who lived next to us) was holding a bag of marshmallows. I don't even care what grumpy, old Mrs. McLusky was eating. I still thought about all the things the neighbours were doing when I went to their houses, if they meant anything about the gunshot. I know I'm soon gonna figure it out.

It was 12:00 am right now and I was in bed still thinking and then I got interrupted.

"Lily, Selena I'm home from work and you better come down cause I know your awake."

It was my mom. I ran to the staircase trying to get downstairs, but then "THUMP!"

Me and Selena had banged heads with each other trying to get downstairs. Mom came running up to see what happened. Soon we were all downstairs in my kitchen with me and Selena holding ice packs on our heads.

When we all got settled my mom started talking about her getting to take some time off while some one else fills In for her at the hospital. She said it would be for a month and she thought we could maybe take a vacation while she's home. She also said that she found a great 5 star hotel that was near a beach and talked about so much amazing things about it.

"Mom that sounds great but where is this hotel?" Selena and me were both asking confusingly.

"Well it's actually in................. HONOLULU, HAWAII!"

Me and Selena were so excited that we started screaming at the top of our lungs. I was just too happy.

I can't wait for what's coming next.
