A/N: Disclaimer
This was a One-shot written and posted by me on our HSI Club profile this year. However, we HSI members have realized that not everyone goes to that page to read our works.
So hoping to make it easier to share our stories, some of us are posting our One-Shots onto our own pages too. We will not be removing books from the page, these One-Shots will simply be up in both places.

WAYO'S POV
"It was a dark and stormy night..."
The movie narrator's voice is slow and very creepy, and it makes me start to rethink my bright idea of picking this movie for our movie night. Hurriedly I say, "P', I've changed my mind. I think this movie was a bad choice. Let's watch a different movie, ok?"
"What?! You're the one who picked this movie. You threw a fit earlier when I wanted to watch something else and now you don't want to watch it."
"... On the high seas no one can hear you scream. Mwahahahahaha..."
That's it! I'm not watching this. Moving my hands in front of my face and only peeking at the TV between my fingers, I beg, "Please P', please. Can we watch something else?"
Heaving a huge sigh, he stands from the couch and moves towards the DVD player, cutting it off and pulling the disc out to put back into its box. "Yo, I don't understand why you picked this movie in the first place. It just doesn't make any sense to me."
How do I explain without looking stupid? "I thought it was going to be about something different."
"Something different? Like what?" He asks with narrowed eyes.
Feeling my cheeks overheat, I rub the back of my neck and look anywhere but at him, as I reply chagrined, "It was in the romance section of the video store, so that's what I thought it would be."
"A romance?" He challenges incredulously as he shakes his head at me. "How could you think a movie named 'Ghost Ships' would be anything but a horror movie?"
"Uhm... I... don't know?" I reply with a shrug of my shoulders.
After classes today, Ming had driven us to this tiny little store, that was hidden away on a back street about 20 minutes from the university. He swore they had the best classic movies you could rent and said he always rented his videos there when him and Kit had a movie night. I was skeptical at first, but once we walked in I couldn't believe the wide range of selections they offered.
I'd wandered the aisles until the name of this movie caught my eye. The cover was simple enough with just a large, not super scary, ship on it and the description talked about two guys going on vacation together. It said absolutely nothing about ghosts or being a horror film. So, how was I to know?
Besides, when I read fanfics about my favorite BL characters the ones involving ghost ships can be pretty exciting, but there's absolutely no way I'm admitting that. He doesn't even know I read fanfics and I'm certainly not going to tell him. He'd probably tease me to death. Nope, not happening. I'd rather look like I just made a dumb choice.
"Fine, I'm going to be understanding about this, but you're going to owe me a forfeit." He asserts with a smirk.
"A forfeit? For what?! Why?!" I demand in return.
"For messing up our movie night. That's why. You were in charge of picking the movie and I was kind of getting interested in it before you made me cut it off." He states as he stalks back towards the couch and me.
