Chapter 4: Being sorted and begining of being homeschooled

- Aidan's Prov
The next morning when I woke up I got up, stretched, brushed my teeth (Author's Note: What? Where Else Are You Supposed To Go If You Need To Go To The Bathroom? Plus How Are You Supposed To Keep From Getting Cavities?) then I changed then went downstairs and saw Grandfather Lagravis sitting in his throne and I think he was waiting for me so after I had an apple for breakfast me and Grandfather Lagravis went back to the same place where we went to get my stuff but we didn't go back to The Leaky Cauldron this time we went to I think is a train station and we went to the platforms 9 and 10 then Grandfather Lagravis stopped when we were in the middle of platforms 9 and 10 "I can't pass through the barrier, but you can" said Grandfather Lagravis then handed me a small rectangular piece of paper "Here's your ticket, make sure you don't lose it" said Grandfather Lagravis and I looked at the ticket

"Platform 9 3/4?" I asked/whispered "Grandpa there has to be a mistake, this says Platform 9 3/4, there's no such thing, is there?" I asked looking up at Grandfather Lagravis and he smiled "All you have to do Aidan, is walk strait at the wall, between platforms 9 and 10" Grandfather Lagravis explained "If you want, I can pass through the barrier if I hold onto you and pass through it with you" said Grandfather Lagravis and I nodded so Grandfather Lagravis held my hand and we started at a run and when we hit the wall we didn't bash into it and I closed my eyes so I opened my eyes and saw that we phased through it and were on a different part of the station because I didn't see any trains but when I walked to the right while I still was holding onto Grandfather Lagravis's hand/paw and saw a train there with a lot of people there

so after I gave my ticket to the man driving the train I helped Grandfather Lagravis pass through the barrier and I hugged him goodbye and passed through the barrier again and got on the train and after a few minutes the train left and the compartments were full and the one I was in I was by myself so after a few hours of the ride I was looking out the window and before me and Grandfather Lagravis left Diagon Alley he explained why people keep calling me Aidan Moorington and that it's my first and last name so I was looking out the window and the view was beautiful because there was a huge lake and a mountain "Excuse me" said a voice and I turned to the doorway and I saw a boy with brown hair and tanned skin and blue eyes "Do you mind? Everywhere else is full" asked the boy and I think he was asking if he could sit here "Oh, I don't mind at all" I replied to the boy and he smiled and sat across from me " I'm Jason by the way" said the boy "Jason Danvers" said the boy named Jason "I'm Aidan, Aidan Moorington" I introduced myself then Jason looked at me shocked "So- So it's true!" Jason gasped "I mean, do you really have the...the" Jason was about to ask but couldn't finish "The what?" I asked then Jason leaned in a little while looking left and right "The scar?" Jason asked/whispered loud enough for me to hear "Oh" I chuckled then lifted up my hair covering my forehead showing him my scar then Jason leaned back "Wicked!" Jason slightly quietly exclaimed and I smiled and laughed a little and thanked him for the compliment Then a lady with a trolley with a LOT of sweets came "Anything off the trolley, dears?" the woman asked us "No, thanks. I'm all set" said Jason pulling out a bag with a sandwich in it out of his jacket and I looked a little amazed at him then Jason put the bag back in his pocket then I remembered I still have some money left "We'll take a bit of everything, please" I said searching my pocket and pulled out the rest of my money and Jason looked shocked at how much money I have "Whoa" said Jason and after I paid for the sweets me and Jason started eating some and me and Jason talked about ourselves and I told him I was the new Prince of the Lions of Chima and he called me "Your highness" but I told him to just think of me as a normal person and me and Jason became best friends then I picked up a rectangular long but square shaped wide "Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans?" I asked Jason "They quite literally mean every flavour" said Jason eating a kind of candy "There's chocolate and peppermint and there's also..." Jason was explaining and I opened the box and took a bean and tried it but it tasted like liver and I hate meat and it tasted VERY disgusting "Spinach, liver and tripe" Jason finished because he looked up at the ceiling like he was thinking and I also bought some paper napkins so I grabbed one and spat the bean out "My older brother Gregory sweared he got a booger-flavoured one once" said Jason and was now eating I think something made out of liquorice so I grabbed a small box in the shape of a pentagon and I looked at what the name of it was and the label said "Chocolate Frogs" and I looked a little nervous "These aren't real frogs are they Jason?" I asked Jason then Jason turned to me "It's just a spell. You can calm down Aidan, besides it's the card you want" said Jason and I calmed down a little "Each pack's got a famous witch or wizard. I've got about 500 meself" said Jason (Author's Note: If You Didn't Know Jason's Pretty Much Like Ron From Harry Potter In This) and after I pulled the lock of the box off I opened the box and a frog was In and it was completely covered in chocolate and it made a croaking noice and jumped off out of the box and onto the window and I shot my head to the window shocked that it's a living frog made out of chocolate "Watch it!" exclaimed Jason staring at the frog and the window was open so the frog jumped out "Aw, that's rotten luck. They've only got one jump in them to begin with" said Jason then after I turned my head to Jason after he finished I looked down at the box and pulled out a card and flipped it over to see who I got and I looked shocked at what I got "I've got Dumbledore!" I exclaimed then Jason tilted his head a bit "I got about six of him" said Jason and after I looked back at the card the picture of Dumbledore disappeared "Hey, he's gone!" I told Jason then Jason shrugged "Well you can't expect him to hang around all day, can you?" Jason asked me then I looked down at his lap and there was a rat with it's head in a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and Jason saw that I can see the rat on him "This is Scabbers by the way" Jason introduced the rat on his lap and i'm guessing it's his pet "Pathetic, isn't he?" Jason asked me and I shrugged "Just a little bit" I replied then Jason picked up Scabbers then put him back down "My older brother Philip gave me a spell to turn him yellow. Want to see?" Jason asked me "Yeah" I replied excited to see someone cast a spell then Jason picked up his wand that was next to him then made a fist and put it in front of his mouth and cleared his throat then raised his wand "Sun-" Jason was cut off by a girl in her robes for Hogwarts looking through our compartment and because the sun was in my eyes a bit I made sure to bring my sunglasses and I was wearing them before the girl came and my sunglasses were broken and I keep forgetting to buy new ones then the girl sighed "Has anyone seen a toad?" the girl asked us "A boy named Simon's lost one" she explained then Jason shook his head "No" said Jason then the girl turned to Jason "Oh, are you doing magic? Let's see, then" the girl told Jason then Jason cleared his throat "Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow. Turn this stupid, fat rat yellow" said Jason flicking his wand at the rat and a beam of yellow light appeared in the box but just blew the box off its head then Jason turned to me and lowered his wand then shrugged and I shrugged "Are you sure that's a real spell? Well, it's not very good, is it?" the girl asked Jason then Jason turned his head back to me and tilled his head to the girl pointing at her with his head and I looked back at the girl "Of course, I've already tried a few simple ones myself...but they've all worked for me" said the girl then she put hand in her robes then pulled out her wand then sat across from me "For example:" said the girl then she pointed her wand at me in between my eyes to the tape holding my sunglasses together "Oculus Reparo" said the then the tape holding my sunglasses together started rattling then came off and disappeared and my sunglasses were completely fixed and I had shocked look on my face then took off my sunglasses and looked at them and they were completely fixed "That's better, isn't it?" the girl asked me then when I turned my head to Jason shocked then Jason looked amazed and I saw that he was eating a brownie now then the girl gasped "Holy cricket, you're Aidan Moorington!" exclaimed the girl "I'm Rose Smith" the girl named Rose introduced herself then turned her head to Jason "And you are...?" Rose asked Jason "I'm Jason Danvers" Jason introduced himself to Rose "Pleasure" Rose replied to Jason then turned to me "You two better change into your robes. I expect we'll be arriving soon" said Rose then left and I knew it was a good idea to bring my robes because I love to be prepared
(Time skip to arriving at Hogwarts and after the Sorting Ceremony
so after I got sorted I got ready to leave and I was on the train by myself on my way back home and I got sorted into Gryffindor and so was Jason and Rose and I fell asleep on the ride home so after the train stopped I woke up and saw that I was at the train station again and I made sure to let Grandfather Lagravis know when to pick me up so after I passed the barrier Grandfather Lagravis wasn't here so I remembered Grandfather Lagravis teaching me how to signal him by roaring and whenever I do it my roar is a dragon roar so I did what I can remember and roared for Grandfather Lagravis and I think he got it because after a while I saw him coming so I went to him then we went home and we got home by riding on Grandfather Lagravis's Speedor and I had to get on first and Grandfather Lagravis was behind me and driving so when we went into the Temple I was welcomed by The Lions and for my Birthday Grandfather Tormak had mom's necklace so he gave it to me as a Birthday present and I never take it off then I had supper then after I was finished I was pretty tired plus it was pretty late so I went to bed and said goodnight to Grandfather Lagravis and went to sleep.
