Chapter 25: The student becoming the teacher

- Aidan's Prov
After the first lesson and after I taught all the tribes every other spell I learned so they don't feel left behind but I didn't teach them what I'm teaching everyone they'll have to wait until the next lesson and right now we're back in the Room of Requirement and now I'm teaching them the Stunning Charm: Stupefy, and everyone lined up shoulder to shoulder again but their were 2 lines so it was basically like a wall of students and different animals from Chima and I got the wolf cub Wonald to demonstrate with me and I taught him how to cast it so I was walking across from him while trying to explain as best as I can "So, stunning is one of your most useful spells in your arsenal, its, well think of it as a wizard's bread and butter basically" I told everyone then I stopped walking and turned around to face Wonald "So um, come on Wonald, give it your best shot" I told him and I put my wand away and spread my arms out a little showing him that he can cast It then he raised his wand "Stupefy!" Wonald yelled flicking his wand at me then I saw that he casted the spell and I got hit by it and I was launched in the air "WHAO!" I yelled as I fell back down and painfully landed on my back and I heard a loud thud after I landed and everything was blurry for a little bit until I could see again and I was struggling to get back up and I saw that Wonnald was on the floor and I guess he was knocked over by the impact of casting Stupefy "Good, not bad at all, well done Wonald" I told him and he was getting back up and after I got back up I put Rose and Jason up and Jason told Rose that he'll go easy on her and everyone was saying "Come on Jason" and I guess they don't want him to go easy so after Jason got on his side Rose and Jason got in their stances and Jason pointed his wand at Rose then he raised his wand but Rose was really quick then she raised her wand quickly "Stupefy!" Rose exclaimed and she casted it while Jason got stunned and after everyone was partnered up and finished stunning one another the lesson was over and after I had quite a bit of rest from teaching because I didn't know teaching could be really difficult and the next lesson we were practicing Expelliarmus and I saw that Simon still can't get it quite right so I stood next to him and pointed my wand at where he's pointing his wand at and I was giving him instructions and after he followed my instructions he looked a bit determined "Now focus on fix point, and try again" I told him and lowered my wand then I saw that Simon was getting ready to cast it then he raised his wand "Expelliarmus!" Simon exclaimed while flicking his wand and he did cast it but then it made a deflating sound and started flickering and floating down and fading away and Simon sighed and lowered his wand with an upset face and I told him to keep trying and I'm sure he'll get it right and after that lesson was over the next lesson I was teaching them Levicorpus and pretty much everyone got it right and I told them to keep their concentration but then I saw that Ravenclaw girl named Tulip and she wasn't doing really well so I walked up behind her and put my hand on her hand and helped her a little "A little higher" I told her and lifted her hand up a bit more higher and after it was at the proper height I let go of her hand and she turned to me smiling sweetly at me and she was levitating Wonnald but when she turned to me the spell was cut off and Wonald landed what looked painfully on his face and I smiled back at her and I saw Wonald get back up "I'm okay, I'm okay" Wonald told us and the next lesson everyone was practicing what I taught them and I also taught them Reducto and right now in the lesson everyone's practicing what I taught them and I was helping a few people who needed help "Working hard is important" I told everyone while straightening a Gryffindor girl's aiming with her wand and she nodded at me meaning she got it then I walked to a Hufflepuff girl who couldn't cast Stupefy "But there's something that matters even more" I told everyone then I gently grabbed the girl's hand that had her wand in and raised her wand "Believing in yourself" I told everyone while flicking her hand that has her wand in it and the stunning charm bursted out of her wand and hit her partner she was practicing with and I turned to her after I let go of her hand and she thanked me and I continued walking around "Think of it this way everyone, every great wizard in history has started out as nothing more than what we are now" I told everyone and they were staring at me listening to what I'm telling them "And what would that be Aidan?" Laval asked me "Learners and students" I replied then I stood in front of the fireplace "So if they can do it, then why not us?" I asked everyone and they agreed with me and after that I got a practice dummy and got everyone to form a circle and I put the dummy in the middle and I told everyone that I want them to use what I taught them on it when it comes to them and a few people were using Stupefy but mostly Expelliarmus but also using different spells and Julie used Reducto on it and we were all shocked and surprised to see Julie use Reducto so after she blew up the dummy I used Reparo on it because it was literally dust now and the next lesson everyone was practicing Expelliarmus again and we set up a Christmas tree because the Christmas holidays were coming up and today is the last lesson for now and I saw Simon ready to cast it so I walked up to him but then he did the wand movement properly "Expelliarmus!" Simon yelled and I saw that he casted it properly and he was partnered up with Li'Ella and the Disarming Charm Simon casted at her hit her wand and it flew high in the air and landed near Laval and we were all shocked that Simon finally did it and everyone was congratulating him and I put my hand on his shoulder "Fantastic Simon, well done, that was amazing" I told him and he was really happy and before everyone left I told everyone to wait so everyone stood in front of me and I had my back facing the doors and Li'Ella, Laval, Cragger, Eris, Lagravis, Tormak, Lavertus, Jason and Rose stood next to me on both sides "Okay so, that's it for these lessons, now we're not going to be meeting again until after the Christmas holidays" I told everyone and everyone awed at that sadly "So just keep practicing on your own as best as you can, and well done everyone, great work, I'm proud of all of you" I told everyone and everyone clapped for me and everyone started getting their stuff and I also taught them Protego and everything else so they know how to defend themselves but I didn't teach them the Patronus Charm so everyone got their things and Laval told me that I was beyond amazing at teaching and I thanked him and I started walking around a little "Thanks a lot Aidan" Simon told me as I passed him "Oh, no problem" I replied and everyone was thanking me and wishing me a happy Christmas and I told them that it was no problem being their teacher and I told them that I hope they have a great Christmas and I saw that Tulip was at the notice board and she looked a bit upset so me being the ninja I was trained to be that cares about everyone I went up to her and she saw me and turned around "Are you alright? I heard that new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher gave you a rough time" I asked/told her and she sighed "Yeah, I'm okay, thanks" she replied and I saw that she was looking at a picture of James and I know that she had a huge crush on him before he died "Anyways it was worth it" Tulip told me as she continued staring at the picture of James and I looked at it then she turned back to me "It's just- It's just learning all of this, makes me wonder if he knew it" Tulip told me "James- James did know all of this" I told her "He was unbelievably good" I told her "But it's just, Voldemort was better" I told her and she looked at the floor then looked back at me and smiled "You're a really great teacher Aidan" she told me and I smiled as a response "I've never been able to stun anything before" she told me then I heard something from the ceiling so I looked up and to my surprise we were standing under a mistletoe and I looked back at her "Mistletoe" she told me "Probably full of Nargles" I replied and she looked at me confused "What are Nargles?" Tulip asked me "No idea, I heard it from Lily" I replied and she leaned in and we started kissing and this was actually my first kiss so I kissed back and after we pulled away we pretty much became a couple and I went back to the past in Chima and told Laval and Li'Ella about it and we are in my room right now "So, how was it?" Laval asked me "Um, a bit wet dad" I replied "Almost as if she was crying" I added "That bad at it are you son?" Laval asked me "Hey, it was my first kiss dad" I told him "Don't tease him about it Laval, Aidan might still be a little not ready to kiss yet" Li'Ella told Laval "Mom, you're not helping that much" I told her and she told me about the time she and Laval had their first kiss and after she finished Laval told her that he didn't even get a chance to say his parts of the story and we laughed quite a bit at that because that was pretty funny so the next day I was deciding what I should get for my family for Christmas.
