When I woke up I slowly opened my eyes, I felt someone's arm around me, my eyes widen. As I turned to the other side to see who it was I saw Kels, for a moment I thought I got drunk and slept with someone.
I got out of bed and grabbed my phone to check what time it is. I shook my head as the time read 10:38A.M
I walked over to Kels and shook her until she woke up.
"Wake up." I repeated until she woke up.
Once she woke up she made her way to the bathroom. As she was in the bathroom I decided to changed, I changed into a white sports bra and some high waisted shorts with white vans.
When kels came out of the bathroom I decided to wash my face and do my hair.
After a few minutes when I was done with my hair I did my makeup. I wasn't really going to go out so I applied light makeup.
"Let's go hang out in the backyard. The weather is nice today and I can get a nice tan." Kels, suggested as she started pulling me out.
I laid down on the trampoline that I never use and kels laid down next to me.
Kels and I were listening to music while talking about going shopping. She decided to stay a whole week at my house because she hates living alone. I agreed and thought it was a perfect idea.
My phone began to ring, I checked and it was a text from Jack.
JACK
Hey!
NOELIA
Helloo
JACK
How'd you sleep? You feel asleep on the phone with me last night
NOELIA
Oh shit, really? I'm sorry about that. But I slept good, what about you?
I waited a few minutes for him to respond but I got no response. I figured he was busy so I sat my phone down. As I began to close my eyes, enjoying the sun on my skin. Kels jumped up, grabbing my phone. She stood up and started taking pictures of me.
"Okay, you look so cute." She smiled.
"I love how you randomly take good pictures of me." I slightly laughed.
"What can I say? I'm a photographer." She says in a sarcastic tone and flips her hair.
I laughed at her comment.
~few hours later
It was 9p.m. and I still haven't received a text from Jack. I decided to post the picture Kels took of me today. But as soon as I opened the app, Jack texted me.
JACK
I'm sorry for the late reply, I had a party to go to.
NOELIA
On a Wednesday?
JACK
well, it was more like an event, but yes on a Wednesday.
NOELIA
Oh cool, did you have fun?
JACK
eh. it was alright
NOELIA
Welp, I hope the next event you go to, it'll be fun.
