First Person Perspective

My (E/C) eyes darted from one direction to another with my feet cautiously padding on the ground, my guard over 9000. The feeling I once felt before entering the barrier lingered all over my body again, every passing second left a graze of cold discomfort down my spine, making me either unintentionally shiver or bite my lower lip every once in a while.

'Chill (Y/N), chill. Remember what Tori and the kids told you.' I reassured myself with a thought as I kept in mind of what's the do's and don't's here. 'First of all, stay out of Death's sight. Two, stay out of the Agent of Darkness' sight or this Chara person. Three, find the God of Wisdom; Gerson, I think was the name.' Soon after finishing my trail of thoughts I felt something on my hand, tilting my head to see I was holding the pie Life gave me.

"Oh, so I just uhh..." I spoke out basically nonesense while I levitated the leaf-covered food, with one swipe of my hand a small-sized portal opened up showing the things that I stored, placing it in a vacant spot. I closed my convenient inventory away and looked straight ahead. "Dang, good thing I can still do that, or else Imma pack a bag like Dora's." I joked to myself earning a giggle from my mouth, prying off the wariness with some light humor.

The path went long for, I don't know, forever maybe; Same old dirt path, same old greenery around me, same old flashing light in the distance.

.....

....

...

            '...Wait...'

'Flashing light light the distance?!' The thought quickly rammed through my head when my common sense registered after two good seconds. Completely flabber-gasted, I quickly yet nimbly jogged over into the forest, avoiding leafy and noisy obstacles as I can.

Now seeing the area around me is getting more illuminated I knew I was getting close, with my heart pounding out anxiety as my body advanced with curiosity. Slowly creeping up in a crouching position to a conviniently shaped rock, the shine faded away when a loud "Shrink" occupied the whole place, before being followed by an agonizing, blood-curdling wail.

I shrank back to the protection of the rock when I saw two beings under-going a battle. It seems that the victorious is the small one with a dark flowing robe and pale skin which a crimson radiation seeping through it.

'It can't be.' I almost meeked out a whimper when I realized who's the familiar kid that was giggling at the woman whose frame weakly laid across the ground, shallow breaths and barely audible gasps exiting her mouth stained with a gray liquid-like substance.
