First Person Perspective

After looking fown at my sandalled feet I took a deep breath and faced forward, making my way back to the dirt path. It was no doubt that danger envelops me everywhere and with these new powers that I know so little about makes me shaken, but also because of this power I had found a peace of mind and strong confidence within me, feeling a surge of determination through my body.

'Wow (Y/N), you've got high self-esteem with you, eh? Didn't know you got it in you.' Vandeross teased as my vision caught the clear ground ahead. "Well I have full of suprises that you may not know." I said to her out loud, hoping nothing heard me as I realized my mistake.

I heard her sigh in my mind. 'Hate to break it to you, but I kinda rummaged through your head and I saw some information about you, so I already know your tricks now. Hehehe.' She mockingly giggled as I suddenly feel violated. 'H-Hey! That's just straight up creepy and wrong!' I screamed in my head, getting a bad vibe.

'What can I say? All Gods are like that, I'm no excuse.' I can imagine her shrugging with a smug look on her face. 'Still, it's not cool.' I heaved out breath as I released the tension from my subconsciously furrowed eyebrows, looking far out as I walked.

'By the way, because of your power, can I now sense other beings as well as they can sense me?' I asked Vandeross, looking left and right to make precautionary measures while waiting for her response. 'Yes, about a mile or so.' I relaxed a bit after hearing, thinking? .... Meh, about it. 'But beware, for some Gods can have a larger range depending on their capability.' She warned me as I was feeling a cold sensation.

I abruptly stopped on my tracks, feeling nerved. 'What was that?' I thought, receiving a quick gasp from my half independent consiousness. '*Gasp* Watch out (Y/N)! There is a God nearby, and by guessing by his presense, I'm guessing you know him by instinct.' After she told that a chill went up my spine yet again, dread dawning upon me as my once gleaming confidence now shattering down to my feet.

'Could i-it be... Dammit.' I mentally cursed manly to myself as I readied myself. I slowly walked forward to that being, seeing there is no way backing out now. 'I can't go around because there are unstable grounds there. If I try to levitate then I'm sure as hell gonna get caught by him, and I can't dig underground because the dirt will, obviously, vibrate underneath me.' 'And also, you can't teleport for he can sense the warp of space and time pass him.' She added to make a solid point.

I gritted my teeth as I steadily approached Death, 'there is no hiding now.' After a few steps I saw the robed God standing chillingly still while looking at my direction, a wide gein on his skeletal face. I stopped walking just before reaching a few meters from him, then he began laughing lightly yet his eyesockets held a grim intention.

"Well look who we have here, Losty the now shining Lost Soul. Our last encounter sure made me slightly angered to the bone, you leaving me was quite bonely tibia honest. So how about now we just... chat... for a while you know, learn stuff about you glowing with a new aura and me having a bad time for not reaping you."
