ERROR'S P.O.V.

     "Where is it!?"

Error groaned and fell back onto his chair, exhausted. He sat at his bedroom desk, looking through his backpack. He had put his favorite hoodie in it earlier and now could not find it anywhere. He had gotten that hoodie from his older brother Geno, so it ment a lot to him. What the heck could have happened to it?

He thought back to everything he had done that day. He remembered getting to school and doing normal school things. Then at about lunchtime, it had gotten really hot, so he had taken off his hoodie. Then... well... he couldn't quite remember. All he could remember was that as he was leaving, he had bumped into a really short kid. Both of their backpacks had spilled out onto the ground. The kid had grabbed his backpack and hurried away. That was it. Then he went home and couldn't find his hoodie. Welp. What am I supposed to do with that?... I'm just gonna check one more time. Just to make sure.

He was about to grab his backpack when he noticed that it didn't quite look right. All the backpacks at the school looked the same. The school did have uniforms, but nobody really cared very much. The bag in front of him had a few pins that said things in bright lettering. A few things stood out to him. 'A.U.s are real too!' That one made sense. They were real in their own way, not the original, but sure. The other one that really stood out to him was a bright rainbow pin that said 'Say hey if you're gay!' Error did a spit take. He, himself was gay but, he would never even think about saying anything. He barely had any reputation, he wasn't planning on ruining it. Then it hit him. He had vaguely been aware of this very important fact, but it just hadn't registered with him yet. This isn't my backpack. Oh god, oh god no! That kid has my backpack, and I have theirs. Error opened the backpack again and reached down past all the school books and pulled out a beige scarf. With paint splatters on it.

I need to find that kid.

Error wrapped the scarf around his neck. He knew that he probably shouldn't, but it felt important. Without his hoodie, he felt empty. The scarf helped.

He pulled it closer around his shoulders.

INK'S P.O.V. (NEXT DAY/Friday )

Okay Ink, calm down. It's okay. I'll be fine. I'm gonna go to the lost and found and look there. If it's not there, then... then I'll go tell Dream and Blue. Okay. I have a plan. Let's follow it.

Ink walked to school with someone else's backpack around his shoulders. He had apparently swapped bags with someone else. Which also ment that he didn't have his homework or his precious scarf. He instead had a backpack that belonged to one of the most feared people in school. He had the backpack that belonged to the one and only Error! *sarcastic cheer* Error didn't like to talk to people much but he was friends with Nightmare. Nightmare was the leader of a group of really intimidating people. They weren't exactly a gang, but they were still scary. All of Ink's friends were scared of Error and Ink would be lying if he said he wasn't too, but Ink had always been curious about him.

He was absolutely terrified right now. If Error saw him, he was dead. Ink had lost his scarf, and when searching through the backpack that he thought was his, he had found a hoodie. He had realized immediately that the bag was not his. He had very hesitantly put on the hoodie and then found that he couldn't willingly take it off. It was a bit big on him, but he just loved the feeling of it draping off his shoulders. He breathed in deeply and walked into the school building.

TIME SKIP AND ERROR'S P.O.V.

After school Error walked down to the back of the school. There was a small building packed with a bunch of random junk that kids had lost over the years. Error huffed and walked over to the door. As he pushed his way in, he became instantly aware that he was alone. It was just one of those weird things that he could sense. I guess if I worked at a school's lost and found I wouldn't want to stick around either. He started rummaging around in a pile of random clothes for his hoodie. If it's not here, I have no idea where it would be.
