I care about you

ERROR'S P.O.V.

     Error and Ink had been friends for about a month or two now. Or at lest Error thought they were friends. He had been quite shy and hesitant about this whole 'friendship' thing. So he was awkward about it. In the past few weeks Ink had been acting nervous which in turn made Error nervous.

     That would bring him to his current situation. Sitting next to Ink, eating Nice Cream and saying nothing. He didn't have anything to say though.

     So he simply waited for Ink to say something. He was quickly rewarded with a short stuttered question from the smaller skeleton.

     "Umm... E-error do y-you... uhh.... like ha-hanging out w-with me?" 

     Error looked over his shoulder at Ink and tried to read the look on his face. He was genuinely confused and surprised by Ink's question. "Umm.... well we are friends and I'm pretty sure friends have to put up with each other, right? I'm still new to this whole 'friendship' thing."

     Ink shifted, looking rather disappointed. "Yeah, right.... you have to.... put up with me I guess."

INK'S P.O.V.

     Ink frowned. He had never exactly been sure if Error actually wanted to be his friend. He had hoped that Error would at least care about him. But at this point, he really doubted that.

     "Ink... I... I don't just 'put up with you', I actually really like hanging out with you. Like, a lot. You are such a great person and you are so kind and smart. You honestly make me want to be a better person. Being with you isn't a chore, it's a gift. You're so amazing and talented, and I don't think I could be half as good as you. You make me smile and laugh more than anything in the multiverse. Ink, you are really the only person I trust. You probably don't really care about me, but I ju-"

     Error was cut off by Ink jumping onto him and laughing happily. He hugged Error very close and then quickly whispered in his nonexistent ear. "I do care about you and I want to be by your side whenever I can. My favorite part of each day is seeing you again. I asked because I was scared to tell you up front. I really do care about you. I just wasn't sure if you cared about me."

     They both sat there for a moment, grinning and laughing like idiots. Ink was happy. He hadn't been for a long time. But Error just made him so happy.

     Error had started to talk under his breath and Ink, in his excitement had not been listening. Now he simply laid down on Error's chest and stayed quiet, listening to Error's mumbling. He could only pick out a few sentences, but what he did hear made him blush a bright rainbow.

     "I care about you Ink and I want to spend every day with you for the rest of my life. I love looking into your eyes and seeing how they never stay the same. You are such a fascinating person. I love you and everything you do. I want to be more than just your friend, but you don't think of me like that so it doesn't matter. I should probably just try to move on, but every time I try it's just so hard. I think I should just leave..."

     Ink was shocked to say the very least. He had never in his life known someone to care so much about him. He looked Error in the eyes and just stared for a moment before Error cleared his throat, blushing bright yellow. "Sorry! It's just that... I've never thought that someone as impressive and cool as you would ever care so much about me... I-I heard you say that you loved me... Is that really true?"

     "Y-yes I... I admit that I really do love you."

     Ink hugged Error again and brought them into a sitting position. He buried his face in Error's neck and quickly and embarrassedly said "I love you too, Error. With all my heart and soul."

     Ink couldn't help but grin at Error's response. "S-so are we... do we... Umm... D-do you want t-to be m-my b-boyfriend?"

     Ink started laughing. It was a light, happy sound that couldn't be mistaken for any sort of rejection. "Yes! Of course! Yes, yes yes! A million times, yes!"

NOBOY'S P.O.V.

     Ink and Error were happy. It took some getting used to, but they pulled through for each other. Their friends were all quite shocked to see the Creator and the Destroyer hanging out and being all romantic and sweet.

     But in the end, they never once thought of leaving each other's sides.

     800 words flat.

     It was really fun writing this, and I hope you like this. I did. Ink and Error are my favorite Sanses. I think they are just perfect for each other.
