Chapter 13-
It's been a rough week. One week of pure torture I think is the better word to use. I haven't heard or see anything from Harry and in some way it really hurt. Watching the celebrity news, the whole BIG wedding is everywhere. The whole Jenner and Kardashian family is thrilled to bits and can't stop talking about the whole situation. Not one person seems to care what Harry feels like. I shook my thoughts away as I stood up from my bed and got dressed, getting breakfast ready for the girls as they had school in less than half an hour. Fizzy seems to love school, the twins are always complaining and Lottie keeps saying it isn't the same. She is right though, it just doesn't feel the same anymore. "Come girls! You will be late!" I shouted from the kitchen as I made them cereal. I opened the sliding door and letting the cold air rush through for a minute or so. "Close the door! It's freezing!" Lottie complained and I smiled as I stepped outside and closed the door. I rested my elbows on railing, looking down to the streets. The roads were quiet from cars but all the school children laughing and joking around down below was all you could here. Out of habit, I started to play with the small charm on the necklace, forgetting everything around me. "I know you miss him..." Lottie said behind me. "I can't stop thinking about him..." I whispered, not taking my gaze off the street below. "Call him." She said but I shook my head. "He will be to busy." I said but she sighed. "Louis, he would want you to call him!" She said but I shook my head. "I got to get ready for work. Please just get to school..." I said turning away and heading to the door. "Call him, then I will go." She said and I sighed. "I will call him after work Lottie... I promise." I said but she just shrugged. "Whatever, but if you don't... I will personally go talk to him!" She threatened and walked past me and out the door with my other 3 sisters.
I groaned and got dressed in my work clothes before taking the house keys and my phone and stuffing them into my pocket before heading out. I started early to clean up after last nights party. It was hard work but the pay was good. Of course glasses needed washing, bottles to recycle, vomit to mop up and many more things that I would rather not mention. I unlocked the bar doors and walked inside. I was always the first person here, to get a early start on cleaning up. Eleanor leaves me the keys anyway to lock up at 5 and be back here by 8. I still don't get a lot of sleep but tomorrow is my day off, which means I could sleep all day long. Well I have to go grocery shopping first... Then I can sleep all day!! I placed my stuff in the locker of the back room before heading behind the bar and switching the lights on. I examined the mess and groaned. It always seems to get worse every single night. I grabbed a trash bag and began to pick up all the glass bottles. About a hour later, Megan and Austin came in. They were the cleaners here, usually doesn't help in this situation so I try to avoid them. "He is here early again!" Megan said laughing. "Saves us from doing a job!" Austin said. I ignored them and grabbed the third bag with bottles in, tying knots in them before placing them to the side. I grabbed the glasses and placed them all on the bar. "Morning Louis, early again I see!" I turned my gaze to Eleanor as she just walked in. "Morning Eleanor." I smiled as I carried on counting glasses. "Where is Megan and Austin?" She asked. You see Eleanor doesn't usually come in the mornings so she doesn't really see what goes on here.
"They are probably in the back smoking." I said flatly and she frowned. "What?" She asked. "They don't do anything... I end up doing it all before Evan gets here." I said and she frowned even more. The crinkles on her forehead increased dramatically. "Everything? As in..." She trailed off. "Yes, the bathrooms, the kitchen, the glasses, the bottles, the vomit... Everything!" I said. "Why can't everyone be as hard working as you?" Eleanor sighed and walked to the back room. I just shrugged and carried on counting the glasses, making sure none have gone missing. Unfortunately there was 3 missing and I groaned knowing Eleanor will freak. "What the hell do you two think you're doing?!!!" I jumped as the two lazy idiots came running out. "You have one more chance! I'm taking half your salary away and giving it to Louis who seems the only loyal person in the damn place! You're lucky I won't have your jobs for this!!!" Eleanor shouted as the two got to work. "Louis, why don't you go home for the day! Come back about 5, for the usual night shift." She said and I smiled thanking her before getting my things and heading out. I slowly walked down the street, towards the apartment. I wrapped my jacket tighter around me as the cold wind blew suddenly. I felt overly tired now, like even if I wanted to sleep I knew I couldn't. My mind raced to the thought of what Lottie said this morning. I have to phone Harry or she will personally go talk to him. I walked into the building and quickly headed into the elevator, heading up and unlocking the door and heading in. I took my jacket off and grabbed my phone from the pocket and sitting down on the couch. I scrolled through my contact list before stopping at Harry's name.
I contemplated for a while before I took a deep breath and pressed the call button. It soon rang but I frowned hearing another phone ringing int he apartment. I stood up and followed the sound, keeping my phone to my ear in case Harry answered. I walked into my room and dropped my phone from fright as I saw Harry sitting on the bed. "What are you doing here?" I asked holding my hand over my heart hoping to calm it down. "I wanted to see you..." He said softly. "You couldn't of just phoned?" I asked and he chuckled. "I wanted to surprise you and also it would make Kendall very suspicious." He said and I laughed. "And you not being there won't?" I asked sitting down next to him. "She thinks I went to rehearsals. Got ed to cover me though said I needed to get away for a bit." He explained and I smiled. We sat in silence for a while, but it was a comfortable silence. "What made you phone me?" Harry asked and I shrugged playing with the necklace once again. Harry smiled seeing I was wearing his necklace. "Where were you this morning?" Harry asked as we slowly made our way out the room and into the lounge. "I had to go to work, but Eleanor gave me the day off as long as I am back there for 5." I said and he nodded. "Is the job treating you right?" He asked and I smiled. "I miss my old job..." I whispered and he smiled. It felt a bit awkward and I didn't like the awkward so I walked closer to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I don't like the awkward..." I said and he grinned before leaning down and connecting our lips together. It was a sweet kiss to start but soon it deepened and Harry pulled me even closer to him. We pulled away before it got any more heated and I smiled as we sat down and I turned the tv on.
"You look exhausted Lou..." Harry said as I rested my head on his shoulder. "I am! Still not getting a lot of sleep..." I said softly. "Sleep now love." He said but I shook my head. "I want to spend time with you! Not going to sleep." I said and he chuckled. We sat watching the tv for a while and it was nice to have Harry here. "How's the wedding preparations going?" I asked and he groaned. "I am hating it! Kendall's wedding dress has cost a fortune but thank goodness her family bought because if I had to... I would of needed to sell the house to pay for it!" He said and I choked laughing. "Not funny!" He whined but it just made me laugh more. "Quit it," he said poking me in the side. I hit his hand away in protest and he grinned that mischievous grin of his and my eyes widened. "Oh no you don't!" I jumped up and backed away. "What's the matter Lou? A bit ticklish is see?" He said walking towards me but I held my hands out in protest. "Don't get any ideas Styles!" I said making a beeline for the hallway, hoping to get away. I ran into my room and before I could close the door Harry caught me around the waist and started to tickle me, making me squirm in his grip. I couldn't stop laughing and I was battling to breathe through my laughter and luckily he stopped once I got him to fall backwards on the bed. "Can't... Breathe..." I said still laughing and holding my side from the stitch I got. Harry was still laughing, clutching his stomach and tears running down his eyes.
After a while, we both calmed down and just lay on the bed. "I've got a plan to get out the wedding..." Harry whispered and I looked up at him. "What's the plan?" I asked and he sighed. "I am going to move to The Seychelles, buy a small beach house and change my name." He said and I laughed. "You can't do that!" I protested and he smiled. "Why not?" He asked. "I won't see you again..." I said with a pout and he smiled hugging me tighter. "Of course you would because you would be there with me." He said and I smiled. "If only it was that easy." I said and he sighed. "I know. But what else can I do??" He asked. "Try to make a deal with Griffins? Maybe Niall can help. Even speak to Linda and see if she can talk to Niall..." I said and he nodded. "Thats a good idea... Come on!" He said pulling me off the bed. I smiled as we quickly headed out his car. "Do you know where he lives?" I asked as we set off. "Yeah... Never been there but I have seen photos and I know the address" He said and I nodded as he put foot. We arrived outside a rather big house and we climbed out, walking up the driveway.
