I can't believe Derek had the nerve to speak to me that way! Who does he think he is?? I drive to the house fast and angry. I whip in the driveway and stomp inside. I was expecting to find Derek in his study avoiding the rest of our argument. Instead, I walked into an empty, dark house. Where is he? I call his cell a few times - straight to voicemail. Maybe he got a hotel for the night. I begin to search through his drawers for missing clothes and missing suitcases, but there wasn't anything missing. So where was Derek? I went through all of his things, looking for something to tell me anything, and I found divorce papers.

As many times as Derek has threatened me with divorce, he's never actually gotten papers drawn out. I read through them. He only wants to leave me 2 million and that's it?! I've been here since the very beginning and that's all I deserve?! I keep searching through his things and I come across an old shoe box.

Derek isn't the type of man to keep old dusty things around the house, so I went through it. It a box filled with memoirs of someone named Chloe. Who's Chloe? I wasn't hurt, I was just surprised that he had the nerve to be seeing someone else on me. Chloe Brooks. Like...Chase Brooks? No way. No way! Is Derek cheating on me with my lover's sister?!

I packed up the box and went to me and Chase's place. He wasn't home. I called him a few times, but he didn't answer. He must be busy, he did say he had to make a run. I sat in our apartment in the dark, lost, for what seemed like hours. Has Derek known about Chase this whole time? Is this on purpose? What's going to happen now? So many thoughts ran through my head.

If he thinks he's going to leave me for some bitch that he barely even knows, he's got another thing coming! That stupid slut thinks she can have everything that's mine?! I'll never let that happen! I turned back at the box and began searching through it more. A phone number? Should I call it? I sat and stared at the sticky note with the number written on it for hours before I decided to pick it up and dial the number once an for all. Ring...Ring...Ring..."Hello?"
