Cheryl's POV:

I got off of the last period of the morning and went to my locker to let some books I didn't need there, then I went straight to the canteen and got my lunch.

"They better start doing vegetarian meals or I'll burn this school too", I thought to myself putting my attitude up as always.

I grabbed a salad and sat alone. I could see the cour four having lunch together a few tables in front of me. After what happened in Sweetwater river Veronica is the only one I talk to more regularly, besides that, cousin Betty and his hobo boyfriend just say 'hi' to me in the halls and Archie talks to me sometimes.

"Can I?", I saw Kevin appearing out of nowhere next to me, scaring me.

"Jesus, you scared the hell out of me", I said grabing my chest.

"Well then I think you should get ready because I've got stunting news!", he sat in front of me grabing his phone. "Look at this", he handed me his phone.

It was a poster to a festival called "SweetApart" where there would be some bands playing music, but it was near Sweetwater river.

"Is this an invitation? Because you know I freak out when I'm close to that river Kev.", I handed him his phone back.

"Common Cher! It will be fun, Archie, Veronica, Betty, Josie, Jughead and all of the remaining will be there, you have nothing to fear about", he smiled to me trying to convince me but I still wasn't that sure if I was going or not.

"Look I'll think about it okay?", I said giving him a little bit of hope.

"Yes! I knew you were coming! I'll send you the details later, bye!" He got up all excited and I just rolled my eyes in annoyance.

I finally left my last period and walked out of school, getting on my car and checking my makeup. Once I reformed my red lipstick I took a look in the mirror to see if everything was on flick and I saw Toni and her other scum friends walking out of school. They were apparently talking and laughing. I just stared at them for a few minutes but can't lie when I say I wasn't especially staring at her...she was beautiful and her smile was stunning. I got knocked out of my thoughts by my phone buzzing:

Unknown: Staring is not nice.

I looked out the car window to see if anyone was looking at me or at their phone. I saw Toni a little far away from the other Serpents looking at her phone. She looked at me smiling and I quickly pulled back to my seat.

My heart was beating so damn fast and I didn't know what the hell was going on. I just limited myself to pick my phone up and text her.

Cheryl: Lol don't steal my lines Topaz.

I looked over the window again and saw her smiling at her phone and then looking at me. This way I was sure it was really her because my message was a little risky.

Toni: Are you going to SweetApart?

Cheryl: Probably not, I have way more interesting things to do than to go to a concert and feel the smell of alcohol and weed in the air.

Toni: You should go, I think Josie is playing there.

Cheryl: Why should I go just because she will be there?
