Cheryl's POV:

I could already hear Josies car horn and I felt a huge smile forming on my face. With my arms around my books, I was in a fast pace to get in the car with Josie when I heard a familiar voice that gave me shivers. I looked to the left and saw Veronica talking to Topaz. What could they possibly be talking about? When I found out for myself I was almost stopped staring at them, and I think they saw me...they totally saw me. I turned my face again and walked straight to the school exit where Josie was waiting for me.

"Hey girlfriend!", I exclaimed, getting in the car and smiling to her.

"Hey C, look, I have bad news?", she started the engine.

Bad news. I could say that I was used to that word, but usually it was about someones death or about someone trying to hurt me, so I was ready for anything I guess.

I limited myself to look at her questionably.

"I have to go to the Whyte Wyrm with the pussycats because Mr. Wheatherbee told us thar we should treat the southsiders equally and bla bla bla, so I can't stay for long, sorry C...", she explained, giving me a sad look.

"That's okay Jos, let's just enjoy the time we have shall we?".

She nodded and we went to Pop's. We sat at the bottom table and ordered. Josie received a phone call that left her a little worried.

"What is it?", I asked her, finishing my milkshake.

"It's Melody, she got sick and can't sing tonight...crap", she placed her phone on the table and looked at me.

"I could sing with you guys!", I said, exited.

"Wait...Cheryl Blossom in the Southside? Are you sure? Would you do that for...us?", Josie finished her chocolate milkshake.

"Y-yeah, absolutely, it's just a song right?", obviously I hated that side of the town, but I was wiling to do it for the pussycats, for Josie actually. I did it before, it couldn't be that hard.

"Yes, a song and we're out of there", she placed her hand on mine.

I smiled and left the payment on the table. We left and got in her car to go grab Valerie and our clothes.

Toni's POV:

I was having the greatest fun I've had in the last couple of weeks with Fangs and Sweetpea.

"Want anything to drink?", I asked them.

"Yeah sure", they responded at the same.

I left their sides and went to the drinks table, I actually didn't know what they wanted so I was just grabing the same as me. The Whyte Wyrm has never been this full, I could barely move, but I managed to get to Fangs and Sweetpea again.

"Here you go", I gave them their drinks.

Suddenly I felt a familiar scent. No, it can't be the northside redhair, Cheryl?

It was really her and I saw her getting up to the stage with...the pussycats? Oh gosh.

Does she know I'm here? She definitely should, she knows I'm a Serpent. How did she agreed in singing here? Surrounded by dozens of serpents...

All these questions couldn't get out of my mind and it made me want to drink more, so I did.

I was in my sixth drink when Sweetpea interrupted me.

"Whoa, calm down there", he laughed at me and took it out of my hand "Look, they're about to sing".

I wasn't drunk, but I wasn't sober as well, I was...happy, I felt good. They started to sing and it got to Cheryl's part. Her voice was beautiful and I couldn't help but smile hearing her voice.

They were just about to leave when they were stopped by Tallboy.

"Already? Common, why don't you girls stay for a little longer?", he said.

"No thank you, we must go now", Josie tried to pass trhough him unsuccessfully.

I hardly got to them and stopped Tallboy.

"Leave them alone Tallboy", I ordered and he left, angry.

Cheryl looked at me and I looked at her, it was a really intense moment until Josie grabbed her softly by the arm.

"Common Cher", she said.

We didn't break eye contact until she got out of the bar. I felt weird, pleasantly weird.
