Hi I'm back! Sorry this took so long. Also dialogue kills me but it's easy to write so look forward to lots of that.

WPOV: It's him. The boy who I think is my soulmate. What's happening to him. I shout out "what's happening?!" and immediately regret my decision. His face pales as he turns to me and I can see the fear in his eyes as the boy standing in front of him turns around. I hiss at the sight if this boys face, caked in blood nose all mangled. If I had to take a guess I would say it was broken. I am so distracted by the disaster that is his face that I almost miss what he says to me.
"Just teaching our little friend here a lesson. Now run along sunshine"
My eyes widen as I take a step forward.
"I'm sorry but no." I say
"What did you just say to me"
"I said no. I'm not just going to leave knowing what your most likely going to do to him"
"Fine. Well I guess were just gonna have to teach both of you a lesson."
I snort. "Is that the only line you've got?"
He growls and launches himself at me. I sidestep and stick my leg out, tripping him and sending him down to the floor with a sickening crack. He doesn't get back up. I turn to the rest of the boys gathered around and I notice they all look a lot more fearful without their leader.
"Leave. Now." I bark at them and they scamper off leaving me and the boy who looks slightly shocked.

I walk over to him and extend my hand to shake.
"Hi. My names Will Solace"
He pushes my hand and down and says briefly,
"Nico"
So his names Nico? It's kinda cute really. It sounds Italian? Yeah Italian.
"Well are you going to thank me or what" I joke with a large grin. This doesn't seem to have the required affect as his scowl only deepens and he takes a step away from me.
"You know I could have handled them myself right." He mutters.
"Yeah. Sure" I say back. He just sighs and turns back towards the entrance and begins to walk off.
"Wait!" I call out to him. "We live opposite each other. I saw you this morning and I think you saw me. You ran off just as I was about to talk to you."
"Don't you think that's a hint that I don't want to talk to anyone Solace" he growls out.
"Maybe but I want to talk to you so there" I say cheerfully.
"Hmph"
We just walk back to the house in silence, only broken by me trying to make small talk and him replying in single word answers or grunts. I ignore the topic of the handprint on his face that is now turning into a bruise. I would assume it came from the bullies except it happened late at night. I guess he. Could've been out later and gotten jumped I guess... Yeah I'll go with that.
We arrived at the houses and he made to go into his driveway. I grabbed his wrist and said to him "stay safe" before turning up the path to my house.
