I pushed Trevor away before we went too far. Once I caught my breath after the intense kiss we just shared, I opened my mouth to get ready to speak.

"I already know what you're going to say. We should take things slow, really get to know each other on an intimate level." He chuckled and pulled away.

"You know me so well." I laughed before grabbing my heels and getting out of the car.

"Thanks for taking me home, text me tomorrow!" I waved at him before taking out my keys to unlock the door.

I sat on the couch with my dog Snoopy while watching Love & Hip-Hop ATL. I was slowly dozing off until my phone rang. I shot up and looked at the phone groggily.

I hesitated to answer, but decided to pick up. It was probably a prank anyway.

"Hello?"

"Stay away from my fucking man Kennedy, or there's going to be consequences." A feminine voice boomed through my iPhone's speaker.

Before I could answer, she hung up in my face.

If this bitch Aria don't stop playing.

She's so unprofessional, but who am I to talk. I'm practically in a relationship with my co-worker and I just got choked out by my damn boss. I honestly should get another job, but I'm so overly qualified, no law firm is willing to hire me if they aren't going to make me the head of the firm itself. Which is why I work where I work now, it's top notch and people of my status have a guaranteed spot. But hey, I was happy.

I sighed heavily and dragged myself off the couch and up to my room. I slid off my robe and slipped into the bed.

Saturday, 1:37 P.M.

"I'm gon' ask you one more time! What is she to you?!" My girlfriend, Aria yelled, picking up a glass vase of the table and throwing it in my direction but missed and hit the cabinet behind me

"What the fuck is your problem Aria?! I don't even know the bitch! I haven't even met her in a professional setting yet!" I argued back. I usually don't argue with females, especially Aria, but I knew if I didn't get my point across she'd try and damn fight the girl and get herself fired.

I won't gon hold you, shordy is bad as hell, but she's definitely not my type. Yeah... I choked her but I had a little too much alcohol in my system. Yeah, I can hold my liquor, but when I get tipsy after 10 shots or so, I slightly shift into another person. Kennedy's my new CFO, maybe I shouldn't have been so rough with her, but she seemed to be enjoying that shit.
