I take it back

"what do you mean I have school?" I all but cried

I was not ready for anything

"exactly what I said Alaska, now get you butt up now and get ready, Mrs Yuki really wants to meet you" my mam said a bit too chirpy for the morning, in my opinion

"what? who even is Mrs Yuk-no that is not the point, the point is that I have only been here about a day and I already have to get ready for school at-" I paused to check the time "- FIVE-THIRTY AM" I screamed, my eyes practically falling out of my head.

"yes Alaska now get up and have a shower, we are trying to get you used to this 'new life' as soon as possible" she said leaving the room without another word

I fell backwards on my bed muttering curse words and grumbling to myself.

"what was that?" my mam called in

"nothing my beautiful mother dearest" I said innocently

I had a quick shower using this new apple scented shampoo, I swear it smelled so good I was tempted to drink it, now I get where that dumb tide pod challenge is coming from.

'I should really do something fun with my hair' I said to myself looking in the mirror.

I didn't exactly know what type of clothes to wear to this new school, but I was informed that there was no uniform which was honestly the only plus so far.

I threw on my ripped blue jeans and my orange Liverpool jersey I got for my birthday without really caring what the dress code was, surely they didn't have a problem with this outfit.

I trudged my way down star to find Darren with a plate of waffles and syrup in his hand waiting for me

"thank the lord for waffles" I muttered grabbing them, not even thanking him

"we talked to Mrs Yuki and you don't have any books or equipment for school yet since the move was pretty unexpected, so she just said bring a pen and a notebook. She also said that since you came half way through the year the lessons might be repetitive because the school system is different here" Darren informed me.

"Are you nervous?" he asked watching me carefully.

"not nervous, more scared of the change, you know? I mean I went to Startridge my whole high school and middle school life and if I'm honest I don't think this school will ever meet that basic standard, they are probably all stuck up round here too" I answered him as honestly as I could in this moment using my hands to talk and emphasis my point more.

"I understand doll-" he said softly "-I am really sorry we sprung this on you so unexpectedly, but I heard that the guys are coming here soon because of a prank at the school, maybe they could help you decorate your new 'woman cave' or what ever your naming it" he threw out

I have to admit the idea of that did cheer me up a bit, even if he was no where near want I was planning on calling it.

"but as of now we have to get you to school, it is six-fifteen and your attendance is taken from six-thirty to seven" he said grabbing his keys and dragging me out or the house not even letting me finish my waffles.

I managed to get a potentially worrying text out to the guys and i's group chat before I was dragged away to school.

Queen of awesomeness (me): kill me

i sent it and didn't reply laughing as the text notifications that nearly immediately started popping up on my phone screen.
