Chapter 8: Long Lost Best Friend

I was already drunk when I was drinking my 6th glass of whisky. I was about to drink it when someone snatched it away from me.

"Hey! What the hell?" I said while getting back my whisky. "Alex you know this ain't good for your health" the hot, gorgeous, and-what the fuck are you saying? Get a grip alex he stole your whisky. Wow I am drunk.

"Give me back my whisky you jerk" I kind of slurred at the end. He just laughed like it was the most funniest thing in the world.

I soon gave up since I am drunk enough but the pain didn't stop that i soon realize tears were coming out of my eyes.

"Hey Alex whoa... I was only kidding" he said. His voice somehow held familiarity. Eh whatever.

"Oh just shut up and stop it" I said and got out of the bar immediately. I was walking criss cross when someone shouted.

"Hey alex you don't look so fine come on I'll bring you back to your house" the mysterious guy said.

"No way am I am getting in I might not be a teenager anymore" I said and continued walking but he blocked off my way. Ugh! When does he learn to give up?

"I can't give up because I did that 3 years ago and I'm not giving up again" he said seriously that made me stop me from further walking gave him a puzzled look. How did he know?

I looked at him and asked "Fred? Is that you?" I asked. "Can't believe you forgot me Alex I thought we promised each other never to forget?" He said with that oh so smirked showing off.

Suddenly the drunkness didn't affect me anymore and I quickly hugged him "Fred?! Oh my god Fred I never saw you not since the you know-" I quickly shut up and he just smiled and said "its okay I've moved on".

Now if your wondering who's Fred is. He's my Long lost best friend that moved away 3 years ago. He moved away because his mom died and he just can't live there any longer so he decided to go to his father along with his stepmom and step sisters. Actually he hated going there but he had no choice since he can't stay at his mom's house without a parent so he went to his dad.

"How are you?" I asked. "Been busy with class and had an awesome life" he replied boastfully and I smiled gratefully.

"So how's your life without your mom?" I asked worriedly since the last time I asked him he threw tantrums at me.

But he just smiled and replied " of course I was devastated at first but then I moved on and even though it still pains me to remember her my dad has my back".

I was shocked to hear that. He must have noticed my shockness because he said "don't worry me and dad kind of patched things up over the years". I smiled widely at that. Good for him but not my dad.

I was about to ask him where does he live when I lost my balance due to the fact I'm drunk and luckly Fred catched me.

"Whoa there. You are so drunk" he said while smiling at me. "No shit sherlock" I said and we both laughed.

After that we went to Fred's white mustang and we sped off. "So where do you want me to drop you off?" he asked. "Oh just about anywhere I don't care" I said.

"Hey Alex you are not going anywhere let alone that to the point that your drunk. Come on I'll take you to my house" he said.

"Sure you won't take advantage of me?" I asked with humour on voice. I guess he didn't take that as a joke because he looked at me with pure seriousness and said "I would never ever do that to you Alex".

We went came to a stop at a house- no, more like a freakin' mansion. I stood there dumbfolded with my mouth hang loose.

"Close your mouth Al you'll catch flies" he said but I just ignored him. "This is your house?!" I asked frantically.

"Nope it's not my house. Of course its my house isn't it obvious?" He said boastfully. I just stuck my tongue at him like a child.

He helped me get inside his huge, expensive, dashing house- er, I mean mansion and took me to the supposedly guest room and laid me on the soft bed.

"I'll just get a basin and towel" he said and I just nodded. It has been minutes already that I didn't see Fred yet so I slept still smiling at the fact that my best friend is back.

When I woke up I have this aching feeling on my head that I groaned loudly.

"Here drink this" A voice said. I quickly went to alert mode and only saw fred. I gave him a hard spank and took the meds right out of his hand. I'm so good.

"Oww... what was that for?" He ask while soothing his arms. "For scaring the hell out of me and thanks for the meds" I said.

"Yeah well your welcome" he said. After I drank the meds I saw Fred laying on the bed next to me with a troubled expression.

"What is it?" I asked. "Uhh... I think you should see this" he said getting his iPhone and showing me the video.

There. A video of me hugging Fred on the streets and showing Fred and I going to his car.

Also with a caption: Ms. Alex cyrus going with a man on a drunken state. Is he her new boyfriend?

I looked at Fred and he was as shocked as I am. Ooops, should've saw that coming...

I really am going to kill all the papparazis in the whole world.

"It's kind of fun" he said but I just gave a nice cold glare which made him shut his mouth.

"I swear those fucking people can't mind their own Goddamn business" I mumbled angrily.

"Yeah" he said quietly.

"Hey Alex will you spend on a day with me?" He asked out of the blue. "WHAT?! A DATE?! FRED YOUR MY BEST FR-" I haven't finished my sentence since he obviously but his two large hands on my mouth.

"What?! I didn't said date I said day you idiot" he said and with that reply I was sure to be in deep tomato face.

God!! Waitta go Alex the award for the most humiliating person in all the world goes to you.

"Oh" I simply said. " Come on let's enjoy the day while it last" he said and I just nodded in reply.

"Oh wait what about the 'papparazis'?" I asked using hand gestures. "Don't worry we'll find somewhere else" he said and we sped off.
