"C'mon guys, 16 lanes warming up!" Noah shouted from the other side of the pool when we entered it. I tossed my bag angrily on one of the banks and jumped into the cool water right away. That day hasn't been better than the last, quite the reverse. I started swimming through the blue water, glad to have something to work off my bad mood. I couldn't help thinking about Niall when I made my way through the water, blue like his eyes. We haven't even looked at each other today. I knew I had to apologise, but I just... I just didn't know what to say to make my words up to him. Much calmer, I promised myself to think of something over the rest of the week when I pulled myself out of the pool on the solid ground. Noah looked at me, quite surprised. "What's up with you today?", he asked with raised eyebrows. I realized that the other girls haven't even started their last lane. Oh. I shrugged. "Lot on my mind today", I explained and Noah nodded understandingly.

"Seems like somebody was very angry today", Alice mentioned as we stood in front of the mirror, combing our damp hair. "You just know me too well", I laughed, glad that I left my angryness behind in the pool. I arranged my blond curls over my shoulder, stuffed my brush into my bag and put it on my shoulder, checking my look one last time. "Tell me, what's wrong?", my friend asked and shook her head that her short dark hair fell in place. "Can I give you a ride home?", I asked, as an answer. She nodded thankfully and we left - the last girls, as always. "Lindsey?", someone called behind us when we walked over the almost empty parking lot. I knew who it was, but before I could turn around, two hands wrapped around my body and I got a little kiss at the back of my neck. I turned around in his arms, happy to see him. "Hey, I haven't seen you all day!", I complained playfully and kissed his lips softly, instantly feeling a chill. "I'm sorry", he whispered and pecked my left cheek, then my right and then my lips. I giggled. "Oh, hey Luke", Alice greeted casually and reminded us that there was someone else around, so we let go of each other. Lucas just nodded at her and looked back at me. "I assume I can't give you a lift", he said, quite the gentleman. "No", I replied, pointing at my car some metres further. "I'll call you, then", he said and kissed me one more time before turning around and walking to his own car. "Aww, you guys are so sweeeeet", Alice squealed and grinned broadly. I had to laugh. "Oh, Al, shut up", I called and nudged her, that she stumbled to the left.

"Seriously, what was wrong with you today?", Alice asked in the car when I started the engine. I sighed and the problems of my daily life rolled over me all over again. "It's just, I said some really bad things to Niall yesterday and he's so mad at me!", I started to explain. I had to admit that I talked about Niall all the way to her house. "I'm sure it will be fine when you apologise properly", Alice said before she kissed my cheek and got out of the car. I sat there for a moment, drumming on the steering-wheel with my thumbs, thinking. Shaking my head, I turned the car keys again and drove off.

In the meantime, Lucas had gone to the local hospital to meet up with his mate Ben, whose parents both worked there, his father as a surgeon and his mother as a nurse. "Let's get that shit", Ben grinned at his friend and Lucas nodded. He remembered the party the week before and that he nearly had her. If that irish ass didn't interrupt them... "Come on!", he answered and entered the huge building before his friend. The pharmacy section was right to the left of the entrance. Ben pulled out a little sheet of paper. "Let me have a look", Lucas whispered and took the perscription that Ben had stolen from his mother. He ran his eyes over it and smiled evilly. Ben walked over to the counter and handed the perscription to the receptionist, who took a look at it and walked in the back, to get what was needed. Just moments later she handed him a little box. Ben payed and left again, with Lucas. Harry went out of the shadow with widening eyes. He had never expected to discover what he had just dicovered when he went to the hospital to visit his aunt who had her leg broken. When he recognized the two boys, he hid in the corridor and watched the whole scene. Still startled, Harry pulled his phone out of his pocket and scrolled through his contacts. "Hello?", Niall picked up immediately. "Hey!", Harry said excitedly. "Looks like we have a liar here. Guess what I just discovered!"

Outside the hospital another phone call came in. It was Lindsey. "Hey, babe", Lucas said. "Come on", Ben called from his car, because Lucas dragged behind, his phone at his ear. Lucas could even hear the frown of his girlfriend. "Where are you?", she asked. "Erm, at ... school", Lucas lied. "At school? I saw you leaving before!" "Yeah, I forgot my coursework and came back, then I met Ben and now we're going home", he explained quickly, noticing that it wasn't the best explaination but at least she believed it. "Okay, then call me when you get home!"  He agreed and ended the call. Phew.

Omg! Lucas is a liar! *sob*
