Never Would've Thought- A Natsuri Story

Chapter Two- A Scream

~That Night~
Yuri rubs her eyes. "I want some water..." she mumbles.
She gets out of her bed to get some from the bathroom. The light is almost blinding to her eyes. Once she fills her cup with water, she raises it to her mouth-
and then hears a piercing scream.
She drops the cup and it shatters. "Huh?!" she exclaims. She runs to her front door.
She finds Natsuki there, bruised.
"Natsuki!?" she cries, completely awake now. "What's going on? Are you alright?"
"I... I... I'm sorry..." Natsuki responds. "My father... He... Um, nevermind..."
Yuri is stunned. "Tell me what happened!"
"It- it was nothing! I needed to get some fresh air.. and I.. Well, I um, I tripped. And it really hurt..." Natsuki confesses.
"Why were you going outside in the first place?" Yuri says, concerned.
"Well... I, um... My dad... needed to cool down, so I left.. to let him.."
"Okay... well, you look... pretty banged up.."
"Yeah... it really hurts... Can I um, stay here for tonight?" she says, embarrassed and blushing.
"Oh, of course..." Yuri says. "Would you like me to make some tea?"
"That would be nice."

~Yuri's POV~
I walk over to the kettle on the stove and pour in some water. I put it back to boil and grab two mugs. "Do you like chamomile?" I ask.
"Yes," Natsuki replies. I nod slightly and grab two teabags. I put them in the mugs and say, "So, the kettle will take a bit to boil. Would you like some bandages?" I ask.
"Yes, thanks Yuri..." Natsuki replies.
~End of POV~
Yuri walks to the bathroom to get some bandages. She returns with them. "Come over here," she says. Natsuki walks over to Yuri and she lets her put on the bandages. "There... now we should probably go to sleep... it's late."
"Well, where am I going to sleep?" Natsuki says, blushing.
"Well, I have a spare mattress in my closet if you would like that," Yuri replies.
"Oh! Uh, yeah. Sure."
Yuri gets out the mattress and places it next to her queen-sized bed. She gets in her bed and turns off the light.
"Good night, Natsuki."
"Good night, Yuri."
