"Connor do you ever sleep?"
Was the first thing I asked when I woke up to see the brown haired android who saved my life. Connor rolled onto his side to look at me. I brushed my bare legs on his clothed ankle. We were still on my bed. I felt like crap. But I'm still alive.
"It's not mandatory for androids to sleep, but we do recharge if we desire to." His expression became thoughtful. "I wouldn't consider it sleeping. It's complicated, Detective, my software creates scenarios that can be mistaken as dreams."
Noticing Connor was a few inches away from my face, I examined him closing. I never realized how much freckles Connor has on his cheek. Tiny specks of dots that I barely acknowledged.
"Did you recharged last night." The daylight seeped through my curtains, illuminating Connor's form. The daylight kissed one half of face. It felt warm but the bruise around my eye felt warmer.
"I stayed aware of my surroundings. It would be idiotic to fall into a void while you are in danger, Detective." His finger lightly touched the burning area around my eye. "You always manage getting yourself hurt, [Y/N]." He said softly.
"Battle scars. They are my battle scars, Connor. They make me look like a bad bitch." I chuckled. "I'm kidding. I'm just clumsy." I rolled onto my back. I stared at the ceiling.
"My Dad would be disappointed in me."
"Why you say that?" Connor asked.
"Because I'm a sad excuse of a Detective. I don't deserve my placement or this job. I did it all for him and look at me right now." My breath hitches, "I drink. I smoke. Fuck Connor, I am alone and miserable. My life is a entire mess."
"You are a strong woman, [Y/N]. I have never met a female who deals with these situations in my short time here." I turned around to my side again.
"Do you really mean that?" I asked.
Connor's eyes stared intently at my face. "Yes I do."
I grabbed hold of his cheek. Connor's eyes widen at my sudden gesture but I didn't care. I crept closer, my eyes lowered down to his pink tinted lips, my fingers massaging the back of his hair. I got closer until my lips brushed against his.
I closed my eyes, feeling Connor's lips moving against my lips. I felt his hand grip on my hips, pulling my body to his body. My fingers pulled on the hairs on his scalp. He moaned against my lip.
Everything felt electrifying. Our lips molded together like two puzzle pieces. His tongue touched my lips, asking for permission to enter. My eyes open in shock.
His eyes were closed and cheeks flushed. I pulled away, breathing hard. Connor opened his eyes to see my lustful expression. His LED turned red and he got up.
"This is not okay." He said.
"You didn't feel anything?" I brushed the hair strings out of my face. "Nothing at all!?" My voice started to rise.
"No." He walked to open my door. "I'll be at the living room. You can come to talk to me after you calm yourself."
I grabbed my pillow and threw it at him. "GO AWAY!"
It hit him but he didn't react. "I'm sorry for giving you wrong signals, Detective, but I'm not a deviant."
He left my room. I was alone in the silence but the only thing I could hear was the breaking of my heart.
A/N: another filter chapter.
Sorry if it's really short. My depression has been coming back really bad. I will update again around this week. I have to go to a funeral next Monday and I haven't been feeling well because of my depression and anxiety. Sorry for the delay.
