Chapter 7: Tears over Beers

Shiro's POV

A scream.

That is all I heard before until a black and white ocean covered my vision, pulling me into my forgotten memories.

I saw a girl with a black trenchcoat caring for my wounds.

I breath heavily and uncontrollably, occasionally grunting from the pain.

"Carmen," She says.

"What?" My past self responds. I already knew that it was going to happen though. I have been having this exact vision for the last month.

"My name is Carmen Smith," She softly smiles at me.

"What is yours?"

"Takashi Shirogane,"

"Are you Asian?" She asks instantly.

"Um no... my parents are- were weird that's all," I responded bashfully.

"Sorry," I shake my head.

"It's okay, everybody asks it,"

"Even I did," Matt says as he enters the room.

I smile widely. I may have worked closer with Sam, but that didn't mean I didn't care for the fella.

The quickly rushed over and wrapped his arms around me.

"Wake up" My eyes widened.

That wasn't Matt's voice.

Matt pulled back as my vision started to whiten.

Carmen was no longer to be found.

This didn't happen before.

"Shiro?" It sounded familiar. A slurred tone in the voice being a slight exception. Yet it still sounded vaugely familiar.

My vision turned blank.

"Shiro!"

I jumped out of bed, sweating and shaking.

A mullet-haired boy with blown out pupils jumps back from my sudden movements.

Keith.

We are back in the caravan that we should have left a hour ago.

Has it been an hour?

I feel a few plastic bags beside me and a slightly sickly smell fills the air.

Keith stumbles to get up. He has tear marks down his cheeks, his hair a mess and was in his black boxers and an undone red, flannel, showing his toned abs.

"Keith, what's the matter?" He blushes.

"It's 11am, breakfast is ready," He looks away.

I sit up, forcing Keith to move over.

"How long have I been asleep?"

Keith looks confused.

"S-since last night?" It sounds more like a question more than a statement.

This confuses me.

This hasn't happened before.
