Beyoncé
We drove nearly all night down a long highway, passing through different states. Finally, I nearly crashed the car I was so drained, causing me to pull into a Days Inn near Cincinnati, Ohio. I stepped out of the Camaro onto the uneven, patchy pavement and ran a tired hand through my hair. A sigh escaped my lips as I stood, walked around and opened the backseat on the passenger side, and began to retrieve our things. A strong figure wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me back away from the car.
"Not now Shawn," I nagged. I waited for a response or a kiss, but only silence and more dragging greeted me. When the person finally pulled me far enough away from the car, I saw Shawn asleep with his head resting on the window, knocked out like a baby. "Who the hell are you?" I asked, fear resonating throughout my body. It had been too long for me to grab onto the car, and Shawn was sleeping, meaning there was no way he'd hear me. I had to think quickly if I didn't want to end up kidnapped and raped somewhere, so I jabbed the heel of my shoe into his crotch area, causing him to double over in pain and release me from his grip. I dashed to the car and slammed both the back seat door and my drivers side door shut once inside. As I sped away, I grabbed the gun from beside me and rolled the window down, getting in a shot at the man's knee as I fled the hotel's parking lot.
"Bey, what the hell?!" Shawn rubbed his tired eyes, probably woken up from the gun shots and sudden car motion.
"We need to get out of here," I said, looking in the rear view mirror to make sure that we weren't being followed. I bit my bottom lip and got on the highway, finding a sign overhead that said 'Kentucky' and had an arrow pointing to the far right lane. I switched over and drove fast, trying to get as far away from there as I could.
"What just happened.. why did you shoot some innocent man?!" He thinks he knows everything that's happening when he doesn't even know half.
"He wasn't motherfucking innocent! The son of a bitch tried to kidnap me," I said as my blood pulsed through my veins.
"Seriously Bey. Why didn't you wake me up! Damn!" He burst out with an irritated tone.
"Well Mr. Carter, it's not exactly easy for you to wake someone up when you're being dragged away by some extremely strong guy! Is your nap more important to you than I am?" I ranted. "I could've gotten drugged or raped or hurt or killed. Do you even care?! You know what, don't answer that," I said, looking down and smiling faintly. "I'm afraid the answer will hurt too much."

As much as I would've liked to respond to Beyoncé, I clamped my mouth shut and kept it that way. The uncanny smile that was on her face accompanied with her aggravation was no good sign. Whenever she did such a thing, the ballistic, Houston in her comes on full force, and that was no desirable encounter. So, I rode beside her wordlessly and watched as she tapped her black acrylics against the steering wheel.

After a two hour trek across the highway, we reached a hotel that was what I'd estimated to be four miles past the 'Welcome to Kentucky' sign. Once she'd parked, I exited the car and made a genuine attempt to open the door for her, but she only denied it by opening the door herself, and instead using the metal door to push me farther away from her.
"Beyoncé can you stop," I asked her listlessly. The entire ordeal was getting far too out of hand, and quite frankly, blown out of proportion.
"Shawn can you move," she requested dryly, mocking me. Reluctantly, I stepped aside, watching her open the trunk and grab her luxurious Louis Vuitton suitcase, courtesy of my uncle, that was filled to the brim with clothes and toiletries.
