Once Shawn and I received out new cellular devices, we jetted off in our Camaro to the fashion mall, based on the instructions that the helpful man from Best Buy had given us. As we neared the entrance, an ocean of uncertainty began to pool in my stomach once I caught a glimpse of all of the snooty, fashionable people coming out of the establishment. I'd always dressed well, but dressing with great fashion from Nordstrom was far different that wearing Mui Mui, Moschino, Versace, and Burberry on an everyday basis. My hands soon began to sweat with anxiousness.
"Baby I don't think is the mall for us. I mean, look at the people coming out of here. I don't belong in this crowd," I gushed, preparing to make an about-face back toward the passenger side of our car. Catching me by consternation, Jay snaked his warm arm around my slender waist and guided my forward, looking at me through his tinted sunglasses.
"Babe, you're prettier than 100% of the population. There isn't a place that you don't belong in. You're my little model, babygirl," he complimented along with a kiss atop the crown of my head. Feeling a bit more comforted, but not much, I released a giggle at his sentiments and gave into him as we trodded leisurely into the mall. It was a luxury mall, that was for sure. Stores bore names like Lacoste, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Diane Von Furstenberg, and far more that made my head hurt when I tried to guess how they were pronounced.
"I've never...," I trailed off in wonder, gazing at the stores in amazement. "This is crazy, Shawn, I can't let you spend money he-"
"Shhh. Let me spoil you," he intervened with a grin. I nodded hesitantly and accompanied him into the first store we saw; Luis Vuitton. Getting a look at all of the beautifully crafted handbags left me looking like a young child in a candy store. "Pick out anything you want," he assured. I gawked at him in disbelief.
"Anything?" I asked for confirmation. Even though I was aware we'd made bank, I didn't want to spend more than he was willing. However, if he told me that I could get anything I wanted, I felt a shopping spree coming on in the near future.
"Anything, princess." That was all I needed to hear.

"Damn babe," Jay complained, struggling to hold most of my shopping bags. Each was filled to the brim with an array of formalwear, casual clothing, and party attire. Not to mention, I couldn't pass Cartier and Tiffany without grabbing a few things. Scanning the next store that would be our victim, I saw the words Tom Ford and grinned instantaneously.
"Look, baby! A store where both of us can shop together!" I was hoping that a trip there would boost his energy because ever since we'd left Lacoste, he had garnered an attitude that was slowly but surely killing my mood.
"Finally," I heard him mutter as we entered the store. I chuckled dryly and rolled my eyes.
"I heard that." We perused tons of suits before our hands were finally full and we needed to make our way to the dressing room. Whilst he changed, I sat on the bench outside, waiting to see what each suit looked like on his chiseled physique. My eyes sized him up brazenly when he did eventually come out, donning an all white suit. My lips furled into a smile that was huge as I stood to help adjust his tie when he checked himself out in the 3-sided mirror. "I love this one baby," I informed him.
"You think?" he inquired, turning to the side to inspect the fit of the garments. Continuing to admire him in all of his classy glory had my womanhood throbbing for attention almost immediately. I could feel the heat beginning to pulsate through my core, and though I willed it to stop, my body was just not listening.
