It seemed the tension wasn't cleared up with Damian and Billy, wherever they were or were left near each other, they would just glare and have this frustrating air around them that made all that were present shrink back. Jonathan had tried his best to make the two make up, but considering they were never that close or good of friends, it was near impossible to make amends. In time Jonathan had given up or better yet just left it be, considering he didn't want to make it worse between any of them. The time for the festival drew close, meaning that it was closer to the end of the year and their graduation.

The sports festival was buzzing with people from all years getting ready to verse each other in the battle of getting first place, all dressed in their sports uniforms. Drink stands, couple snack stands and flags of each team hung high in the sky, battling the soft winds that erupted. The lively place made the droob place look rather inviting. Jonathan was cheering out loudly, on of his hands in the air and a massive smile on his face, it made Damian smile, well only a little considering they were in public, already had one hand intertwined gently.

"Class Eleven C to the 800 metres, your class is the only one missing. Class Eleven C hurry up." the speakers exclaimed, with the voice of Garfield, who had volunteered to be the voice of the schools lively day. "Go Raven! Show 'em whose boss!" Jonathan yelled, watching the pale girl lining up for high jump, her body was as graceful as her movements, as she made it over the bar with ease, no hesitation and her body not even grazing the bar, she landed with a thump. She seemed weightless like a cloud. It made Jonathan smile in awe.

It made Damian's heart melt when he smiled like that, especially considering he was trying his best to be on his best behaviour for Jonathan. He was restraining himself in more ways then one. For some reason, Damian was set on restraining himself from his sexual desires, he was only allowed one kiss a day and anything further was prohibited until their next heat, which was the only exception, which in any case, acceptable. The case being he was a little low on self-control, he hadn't realised his desire for monopolisation was so strong.

But as a self disciplined young man, he would restrain to the best of his abilities, as per was requested of him. He gritted his teeth, as he tried to intertwine both his and Jonathan's fingers together, only to have them swiped away in a massive cheer from another win from their class. Jonathan had signed up for relay, javelin throw, discus and 800 metres. It seemed his endurance to keep going and his energy was unparalleled. Damian had only signed up to one, which was the bow and arrow contest. Whoever got the most in the centre won, he only had to imagine Jason and Tim's head in his mind and he was pretty much set.

The day went elevating slow, there was so many contests and bloody battles, of everyone trying their best to outdo the rest. So it begun, the competition of classes and the clashes, where friendships were put on the line, to either make or break. It was a test of great strength and it only begun. It was only meant for friendly competition but everyone was hot blooded to win. Damian and Jonathan's class had already the lead, with having the more athletic and superior students lumped in one of class.

Billy and Jonathan had made a new record with their relay race, Damian had outdone everyone in the bow and arrow competition, Raven remained unchallenged in high jump, Kori had triumphant in javelin and hurdles. It was unfortunate but also seemingly unfair for the other classes who didn't give up. It made him laugh, internally of course. Billy hadn't approached them after going to the library with them, at least that was what Damian suspected, he hadn't been near Jonathan, or at least when Damian wasn't around, but that was a rare occasion. "I'm gonna get us drinks. Wait here." Jonathan exclaimed, after running away. Sweat had accumulated from his constant running, he hadn't really rested between the events and the fact that he could still go was amazing.
