|1| Sojourn:

I do not wake to be welcomed, I wake to a stalled world that has no intention of my stay.
Do I have the will to catch up to something so cruel or will I remain stalled here in this prison?
Looking up from the screen I tease the world with my first gaze since 8:24 PM, though, that wasn't where the story ended.

It ended on the late night of a celebration, an unfair and ironic timing.
My world had run and years had passed in moments while I slept without a clue of the woe beside someone I was mending when my attention should have been with another.

I had slept still and my world had spun relentlessly without wait.
That morning, as the dawn was brimming and we were rubbing the sleep from our innocent gazes, a call had my heart heavy and me collapsing into a deep sea.
The watchful hadn't an idea of the ocean that had replaced the warm sun that leaked past clouds. All was visible was the mighty waves before my trembling hands as I tried to claw the water only to sink further and be encapsulated in this unbreathable situation.

I will stay and just as the world no one will wait, they look at me with pity and no relation.

~ One shares your gaze ~

Silence, silence that evil voice.

They do not care, they do not share the same woe, none of them. Not a single one cares. No one, this land is barren. This claustrophobic island that have drifted upon like smooth wood is my only option.

It has a stunning view if I dare to hoist myself up a shaking tree rocked by the winds moving the ocean, a stunning view I am not allowed to reach, I am not allowed to touch. Her words whisper over the sea soothing the currents for a moment before realization strikes a deadly thunder in my skies.

The waves skyrocket, dancing among flashes of fire. The tree creaks and falls with a silent thud when rivaled with the storm in my ears. I sat on my small sand castle that leaked into the sea as the waves lapped and soar over me. One was perched over me now, one with a mighty base and a tongued head looming over me.
Silence overtook the thunder and lightning was stolen from my vision by water, it crashed down. A tongue swallowed me whole, vore.

I floated in the water between air and stone, cold and unmoving my lips spoke soft murmurs with blue lips.

~ I love you ~

That was certain.
I wish you were here with me, I miss you.
