Emas POV

Jughead and I sit at our usual booth at Pops. Im helping him with his novel and then Archie and Mr. Andrews come in with a Christmas tree.

Thats right, its Christmas in Riverdale, and this years Santa Claus is none other than the Black Hood.

"What do you say, Pop? Is it okay?" Archie asks Pop. "The best tree yet. Thanks, Archie, thanks, Fred." Pop thanks them. "Oh, no. Thank you, Pop, for letting us set up shop right in front of your diner." Mr. Andrews says.

"You guys gonna stay in town for break?" Archie says as he sits down at our booth. "Yeah. We were gonna visit my mom, but she booked a single's cruise so How are you and Veronica?" I say. "We've been better." Archie obviously lies.

"If it's any consolation, Betty and I aren't in the greatest of places, either." Jughead says. "Jughead, Ema, you want a Christmas tree, you and your dad? On the house." Mr. Andrews asks us. "It'll have to be a small one, Mr.
A." I say.

"So, I'll see you two at Kevin's Secret Santa thing?" Archie asks us. "Yeah. Because that sounds like a great idea." Jughead says and we all chuckle.

"I was thinking about our Penny problem." Jughead says to our dad as we eat our breakfast. "My problem, not ours." Dad says. "Well, we are the ones she has on camera delivering drugs." I say. "How I deal with Peabody is not your concern. I'm handling it." Dad says.

"By pimping the Serpents out as drug runners?" Jughead says. "Boy!" My dad says sternly. "Toss them in the corner." My dsd says as he opens the door. "Hey, what's in the bags, Tall Boy?" I ask. "Hey, what did I just say? Mind your damn business and get to school." My dad says to us.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"What is all this?" Jughead asks as we walk in the Whyte Wyrm. "It's a Serpent tradition. Every year, we give back to the Southside. Toys for Tots. Meals on Wheels, kids and old folks living alone. The Hells Angels do it." Toni explains.

"I'm always down for charitable works." I say.
"Hey, have you seen my dad?" Jughead asks. "Why aren't you in school?" My dad asks as he walks towards the bar with Tall Boy. "It's a half-day before break." I say. "Well, in that case, you can hold down the fort here, Jug." Dad says.

"Or we could come with you guys." I say.
"Nice try. The answer's no." Dad says. "We do need another set of hands, boss." Tall Boy says.
"There you go. Let us pull our weight. Dad I don't know what the Snake Charmer has you doing-." Jug starts. "Sweet Pea, you're with us." Tall Boy says.

"Hey." I stop Sweet Pea. "Be safe ok?". "I will dont worry." He says and gives a small peck on the lips.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"So you and Sweet Pea huh?" Toni asks. "Yeah." I chuckle. "I always thought you two had a thing for eachother." Toni says. "Really T?" I ask.

"Yeah. You two look really cute together." She says. "Aw thanks." I say and continue wrapping presents with her.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Did you open them?" My Dad asks. "No, Dad.
Out of respect for you. But your parole officer, Mr. Walsh, he sure was curious." I say. "Walsh was here?" He asks. "Yeah. Don't worry, We got rid of him. But he already has heard that the Serpents are moving into narcos territory." Jughead says.
