Chapter Fifteen: Fry in hell

"Come and get it"

Oh fuck
What the hell am I supposed to do?

I completed my burger when i was fighting with Shawn after our fall
So now there's only fries left for the bribe

And I'm still hungry
But i think i got to take the difficult call

"Here, take my fries"
I say sadly, hoping his cold heart will melt

"Thanks"
He takes the fries from my hands and eat it one by one in front of my eyes

"My phone?"
I ask, narrowing my eyes at him
He's got what he wanted, now could he please give me back my phone so i could get out of here?

"What? I told you come and get it"
I look at him like I'm the hunter and he's my prey

"I thought it's a barter system?! I give you my fries you and give me my phone?!"
I yell at him, i fucking lost my fries to him

"That was valid for like a minute, and in that minute but you decided not to give me"
IS HE FOR REAL?

I got so angry that I stomped my feet and walked in his direction
Our faces were like an inch apart, I grabbed his shirt button line hem by one hand and put my other hand in his back pocket where my phone was,
I literally grabbed my phone and took it out

I wish i did that earlier!

"Asshole"
I have never seen myself this angry

Shawn looks at me and smirks
"I was waiting for this"

"Fry in hell, you ate my fries and that is all that matters"
I say, looking at my phone and dialing

"You haven't changed a bit, have you?"
Shawn looks at me, for the first time there is no smirk on his face

I stop doing whatever I'm doing and look at him totally confused

"Sorry?"
What does he mean by I haven't changed a bit?

My phone rings and i still look at him confused
I come out of my trance and pick up the call

"Hello?"
I say, I'm still in a shock
I look at Shawn who is standing in front of me

"Fabby, where are you? We are almost done. Are you alright?"
Harry asks, I check my watch and it's 1130 already

"Yeah, I'm alright, I'm on my way, coming"
I speak into the phone

"Come fast, Drive safe"

"Yeah, I'll"
I say and cut the call
I put my phone in my pocket and walk towards Shawn

"What do you mean by I haven't changed a bit"
I ask, still confused to death

"'Riana' doesn't remind you of anything?"
Shawn looks at me with twinkling eyes
Nostalgia twinkles in his eyes

I try to pressurize my brain to remember something but no, I can't remember of any Shawn Shertz who has ever crossed my path in my entire life

"Uh No, tell me, tell me fast, I got to go"
I say, Shawn looks at his watch

"Someday later"
He says

I have so many questions and guesses but there's no time to ask and tell
So i nod in agreement because it's getting late but it's eating me inside

I turn around and make my way to the parking

"Hey Riana"
Shawn calls me, i turn around and look at him
His blue eyes staring in my hazel eyes

"Go safe"
I look into his eyes and Nod

"I'll, Thankyou"
I turn around again and walk away

I reach the parking and sit in the car
I start the car and I'm on my way to KFC

On the entire way to KFC, i try to remember all the people who came into life but I couldn't find a trace of Shawn in it

Maybe he's just kidding?
But why would he kid like this?

I reach KFC and see my friends standing outside

I get out of the car and give the keys to Harry

"Thanks Harry"
I smile at him, He looks at me and frowns

"What's up? What's going in that small head of yours"
Harry asks, he arches his brows at me

"Spill it out, what's up?"
Amy joins in with Harry when she notices me

"Nothing guys, just trying to remember something and my brain won't allow it"
I give them a weak smile and shrug it off

"Oh! Eat Almonds"
Amy say, holding her laugh and smiling at me instead

"Don't sound like my mom"
I say, rolling my eyes at her

"What made you so late?"
She frowns at me

"Uh Nothing, Just Shawn being himself, you know"
I was still thinking of any traces Shawn

I couldn't even ask Amy because we met in grade 7 and she'll probably think that I'm crazy

I think she already thinks that

I chuck it and relax for a moment

"Where's Ron?"
I ask

"He's removing his car from the the parking area"
Harry says as he sits in the car

"Come On sit Fabriana, i really need to go to the washroom before I wet Harry's car"
Amy pulls me inside the car

"Woah woah, Amy! One drop and you are dead!"
Harry starts the car and narrows his eyes at Amy

I wave at Nia and Tessa as they wait for Ron and mouth them to say Bye to Ron from my side

"Ew guys, Shut up"
I say, frowning at the both of them

"Tell Amy"
Harry speeds up

We reach the dorm and Amy runs for her life

"See you Harry"
I wave at Harry and reach the room

Amy is still in the washroom
I get out of my clothes and heels and put on comfy pyjama and a top

Amy is out of the washroom by now and i wash my face and brush my teeth

I lie on the bed and check instagram when a new message pops

I open the message which says 'Shay'
I check the old messages and it's Shawn's number, just the number is saved as 'Shay'

"12:00am
Do you remember me now?
-Shay Shertz"

I get up from my bed in shock and sit there like a statue

OH YES!
I remember a SHAY
YES! NOW I DO!

HOLY FUCK NO
IT'S HIM?

IT CAN'T BE HIM
