It's been 3 months since Keith and I have been married and life is perfect. After the word got out and everyone chewed us out things got better. We've spent so much time with each other we are practically attached at the hip. Don't get me wrong we do still spend time with our friends separately but we make sure we always have time for us. I was in the house working on my brand while Keith was out at an audition. I decided collaborate with Fenty on a few new items. The bell rung and confused me because I wasn't expecting company. When I answered it I was shocked.
"Why are you here?"
"Damn I can't come visit a friend?" He said letting himself in. "Wow you've really put your touch on this place"
"Um can I help you?"
"Stop being so hostile. I didn't come here to cause trouble. I really just came to congratulate you. I'm happy you're happy" he said with a smirk. I knew he was up to something though.
"Um thanks. I'm happy I'm happy too." I said keeping my eyes on him closely. "Bryshere beg are you really here?"
"I told you but for a while I was shut off because of you're whole moving on and getting married. It's supposed to be us. And that baby is supposed to be ours" he said touching my stomach. How did he know? Nobody knows but me and Mari. "Yeah I know. I know your body. You look exactly the same as you did when you were expecting before."
"Nobody knows. You keep your mouth shut I want to break the news."
"No problem. Just promo my new movie and it's all good" he said.
"Wouldn't that be hella weird? I never promote you now boom promo"
"Just do it. My followers fell so much i just need the promo that's all. See not that bad" he said.
"I guess. That's it and that's all. Take care." I said as I walked out.
Well the cat is out the bag we are having a baby. I honestly found out a month ago but never told Keith because i wanted it to be special. Father's day was coming so maybe I'll just do it then. Yazz coming by was just too much to even think about. Does he really think i want to promote his movie? And how the hell did he even know i was pregnant? All that bullshit he was saying was extra. Ugh my head hurts.
"Hunny I'm home!" I heard Keith say.
"Hey baby"
"What's wrong?" He asked after hugging me.
"Nothing just tired. I've been working on this new project. I want it to be a great launch. How was the audition?"
"It was interesting but good" he said taking a seat.
"Interesting? How so?"
"RD is the leading lady" he said and it had me confused.
"Who is RD?"
"Ryan" i must've made a face because he opened his mouth the explain but i stopped him.
"It's fine. The first time she gets out of line it's a wrap for her"
"I know I know. What's up with you?" He said he said standing in front of me putting his hands on my shoulders.
"I'm chilling to be completely honest. I missed you today baby"
"Aww I missed you too bae. Thought about you all day. Let's go out to eat" he said kissing my cheek.
We went upstairs and got changed and ready to go. I put on a dress and looked in the mirror. I'm not skinny to begin with but my stomach isn't huge but it's a bigger pudge now. I started to change out of the dress but Keith pulled it back down.
"You look great. Keep this on" he says.
"Keith I don't like how it looks. Let me change"
"No I love it. Keep it on for daddy so i can take it off you later" he kissed my neck and slapped my ass. See it's shit like this that got me pregnant in the first place. I'm telling him tonight.
"Ok. Well I'm ready I guess" I said walking out. We got in the car and drove to the downtown area. "Wait stop at cvs real quick"
He pulled over and started to get out but I stopped him. "Chill let me go in alone. I'll be right back"
I walked in and went to the greeting card area. I was looking for the perfect Father's Day card. He was going to be so confused. I grabbed the card and went back to the card.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Yup let's go"
We drove to the restaurant and got seated all the way in the back. The hostess kept her eyes on Keith but I tried to ignore it. When she sat us she whispered something in his ear and handed him a card. He looked away and ignored her.
"You calling her?"
"What you think?" He said putting the card in the water making me laugh. "What you get out the store?"
"Some mints. I want something with a lot of garlic and since you can't keep your lips to yourself I figured I keep my breath fresh."
"So considerate" He laughed. We ordered and he was surprised I didn't get some alcohol but he didn't question it. When the food came I was in love because it all looked so good. I instantly started eating.
"Whoa whoa the good isn't going to jump off the plate babe" he laughed.
"I'm just so hungry."
"I see. Slow down before you choke. I'll be back I'm going to the restroom" he said leaving the table. I took this as my opportunity to place the card down. I snuck a few bites of his food too. I don't know what he had but I wish I had got that too.
"What's this?" I heard Keith say as he sat down.
"I don't know they placed it there and said it was for you. I didn't want to invade your privacy so I waited."
"Oh let's see what's in it" he said opening it. He read the card and didn't look up for a second.
"What is it?" He finally looked up with tears in his eyes. He got up and kneeled down in front of me. He didn't say anything he just rubbed on my stomach. His actions made me tear up too. After a couple minutes he got up and kissed me.
"Thank you. You don't know how happy I am right now. I have the best wife who is also my best friend and now turning into the mother of my first child. If I died today or tomorrow I'd be highly satisfied in life" he said sitting back in his seat.
"Aww keith knowing you feel this way makes me happy as hell but you better not die today or tomorrow because I'd kill you"
He laughed and grabbed my hand.
"How do we announce this?" He asked.
"Why do we have to announce every little thing? Can't we just wait? Pop up with the baby like surprise!"
"Now you know we can't keep things secret. Remember last time? Almost got my ass whooped by my mom and yours" he said.
"I mean of course we would tell them but does the public really need to know?"
"We can try our best to keep it a secret but I'm not sure how well it'll work but we can definitely try" he got up to help me up.
"Keith I got it. I'm only 2 months I can stand"
He laughed and grabbed my hand. We left the restaurant and the whole way home all he did was throw out baby names. When we got in and settled he brought me snacks and some juice.
"Keith no I don't want to be extra fat."
"First off of you gained 100 pounds I would still want you and it's not for you it's for Keith Jr" he said basically pushing a cookie into my mouth.
"Stop that"
"Ok ok. So how does it feel?" He asked laying down.
"Um the same. It's nothing really there. Just been a little off."
"I'm so happy baby! My baby is having my baby. This life can't get no better" he said kissing my belly.
I just let him talk on and on while I checked Instagram. I hardly ever go on but when I do I always find something new about me or Keith that I didn't know. I scrolled through the explore page and saw a pic of Keith and Ryan looking cozy in some kind of outside setting. Knowing it was probably just for the role I didn't want to push the issue but then there were more pics. One of him getting out of my Jeep and she followed behind him. I stayed calm and tapped his shoulder.
"Yes?" He said in a sleepy voice.
"Here you should see this" I handed him the phone and he sighed. "Lie and i swear to God I'll pop the fuck out of you"

"We had lunch. That was it" he said.
"In my car?"
"That's when mine was in the shop" he said.
"So while i was here letting you use my car you were out having lunch with her? Then you didn't think that this would be captured ? This one is the best. Y'all look hella cute and cozy. Look"

He looked at the pic and tried to get up but I put my arm around his neck keeping him down.
"Babe I can't breathe" he struggled to say but I didn't let him go.
"I don't care. Why is it that every time things are great something happens?" I started squeezing tighter. If he dies he dies. I looked down and his eyes started to close so I let him go and watched him catch his breath. "I think you should go stay with your mother or something. I can't look at you. And don't say shit to me either. Don't try to explain. Just grab some stuff and go"
"But we" He started.
"No keith I don't want to talk. I'm not mad just disappointed. It might just have been innocent but it looks differently in pictures. They speak 1000 words. Now I look stupid. Big fat and stupid. I'll call you when I'm ready to listen. I love you"
"Ok. I love you too" he said gathering some stuff and leaving out with his head down. I sat on the bed and cried a little bit before falling asleep. Didn't I say every time I sign on it's always something. In a couple days I'll call him back.

Keith
"Ma I didn't do anything"
"Boy I don't want to hear it. I seen them pics too. You know I never liked that girl. I don't care if you two have a role together you don't need to have lunch together. Then in her car too. Chile get away from me" she yelled at me.
"Ma I think you two are overreacting. Why can't I have lunch with a cast mate?"
"You can But y'all were holding hands. she's grown she doesn't need someone to hold her hand Keith!" She said popping me in the head.
"She was holding my hand I wasn't holding hers"
"You lie just like your dad. So dumb. Keith get out my face." She finally said walking away. I'm going to hate having to do this but I'm going to have too.
"Hello Jerry it's Keith I don't think I'm going to be able to take the role, it's too many complications, yeah yeah I know, you think you can get a different girl?, whatever works for you I don't mean to make you switch things up" I listen to him talk about how I was perfect for the role and how they were willing to drop Ryan if it was too much trouble. I don't that to happen because then she's out of work but she caused this not me.
"Ok well call me if anything" I said having up. If this doesn't show how much I love my wife I don't know what will. I'm willing to not do a job just to separate myself from the drama. Whew what a day.
