Ikko's POV

Ikko sat on the swing at her local neighborhood park, tears trickling down her face as she looked at the text from her dad, telling her she was an accident and they hated her.. again. Although she hated her parents, their abuse still hurt. Both physical and emotional.

In a way, she still loved them. Its not easy to completely hate your parents.

Glaring at her phone with the hurtful text, she threw her phone on the ground, collapsing into choked, nearly silent sobs, unaware of the presence behind her..

Kv'var-de's POV

Kv'var-de was furious. His mei-hswei was supposed to be keeping an eye out for any kainde amedha in the area but he fell asleep. Idiot..

Kv'car-de growled in anger, scanning the area with the heat signature setting in his mask to see if it was in his vicinity. Only seeing one heat signature, he started toward the source.

When he got there, he stopped short, seeing an ooman sitting on a swinging device, her shoulders shaking as she made choking sounds. Having never seen a live ooman, Kv'var-de cloaked himself and started towards her slowly, her emotional signals showing distress.

He stepped on a branch and the female snapped her head up.

Ikko's POV

Hearing a twig snap, Ikko snapped her head up in the direction of the noise. " ... Hello? "

No answer.

Getting up, she walked slowly towards the source but stopped short when she saw a huge shimmering space in front of her. " Umm... Who's... Is anyone there? "

Quiet clicking.

' The hell is going on? ' She thought, slightly scared but even more irritated. She picked up a rock and tosed it to the shimmering area. The rock didnt hit the ground like she hoped it would. It hit something with a dull ' thud ' before it fell to the ground.

Not a second later, someone had their largehand wrapped around her neck, her feet not touching the ground as she was hoisted up, her back to a tree. Choking, she grabbed the hand to try to relieve some of the pressure.

" D-damn you're huge! " she gasped. The clicking got louder and the shimmering spot disappeared, only to reveal a huge humanoid-like thing. She assumed it was male but couldnt be sure. The creature had a mask, hiding its face. Scaly-like skin, long dreadlock type things and weapons and skulls littered around its torso. She could see it was very tall, maybe around seven feet and very strong by the way it was holding her body up with no effort.

She looked up at it fearfully, her vision getting darker as she failed to breathe.

Just as she was about to pass out, it dropped her. She gasped and held her sore throat, taking deep gulps of air.

The creature loomed over her and she looked up at it fearfully. Suddenly, huge claw-like blades stabbed the air from his wrists. She stared at them, stiffening in fear. It raised the claws but something suddenly tackled it from the sde. She saw it was a sort of lizard-like banana headed alien.. Thing. Why are there aliens here?!

Ikko stared at them wresting, the lizard trying to stab the guy with its long pointy tail. She got up to run when the guy landed in front of her after being thrown back, its back was to her but it knocked her over.

" Ow... "

The guy threw a spear as the lizard charged, killing it as the spear went into its chest.
