Katy eyes widened and she rose up slowly.
"I don't really have long to stay, Katy but I have to get this off my chest." I said softly, taking my glasses off and placing them on my shirt.
"Let's get this off your chest then." she spoke weakly.
"I needed you mom and I still need you more than anything."
"I've been living in the past hoping and wishing I could stay there, hoping that you'll come back and we could fix it. I forgive you for leaving me, I forgive you for turning your back on me, I forgive you."I said softly.
" I got raped when I was 14 and you know who I called out for? YOU! I called out for you hoping that you'll pop up and come save your baby girl I forgive you for not answering me, I forgive you mom." I screamed as tears ran down my face and I didn't bother stopping them.
"I blamed you for every event I been through because you weren't there."
I never looked at Katy once but when I did she was drenched in tears. I got up, kissed her forehead and whispered " I forgive you." in her ear.
I slid my sunglasses on and walked out the door feeling like a new women.
