"You know I love you guys right?"

I asked Bella and A'mir as we were on our way to my moms funeral.

"Yeah. We know."A'mir said softly.

"We all?"I asked them."We got."They said in unison making me blush.

Its been a week and a couple of days, but this shit still hasn't hit me. I had been on a non stop vibe and I was literally at a place where if I stop, I knew it was gon be hard for me to begin again.

"You guys are going to meet some new family at mommy funeral today."I said softly.

"Who?"They asked.

"Cousins, Aunties, Uncles and our grandma."

"Grandma."Bella said softly.

My mom family was the best thing that has every happened to me, but I turned my back on them when Katy turned her back on me because they followed in her footsteps.

"Ka'i?"A'mir asked.

I knew what he had to ask was serious because he rarely called me by my name unless he really wanted me to hear him.

"Yes?"

"Do you know where my dad is?"

I didn't know how to answer the question because I was too worried about where it came from.

"No."I said softly.

I knew his dad was somewhere in the south, knocking, looking for a hit, panhandling, but I couldn't tell him that.

"Why did you ask?"I asked.

"Because."He paused looking at me with teary eyes.

"Because?"I asked.

"I want him."He said softly.

I was scared to reply to him because I didn't know what was the right thing to say.

"Ma'am we're here."The limo driver said as he rolled down the window in the back of his head.

"Okay."I said softly.

The funeral was a private funeral, I didn't want dope fiens, Katy old friends or randoms showing up causing a scene.

"Are we early?"Bella asked as we were in the private family room.

"Yes."

"Is that your dress?"She asked pointing as I was putting on my shiny, sleeveless, one shoulder, beautiful slit, black givenchy dress.

"Y'all got the bitch?"I asked Petey sliding on my Louie loafers.

"Yeah, we watching the house now."

"Any signs of Andre?"I asked putting on my suit jacket.

"Not yet."

"Alright man I'm about to head to this funeral I'll hit you later."I said looking at myself in the mirror.

"Alright bruh, tell Ka'i I'm sorry for her lost again."He said softly.

"I got chu."I said walking to my car.

"Aye bruh?"

"Yeah man?"

"You good?"He asked.

"I'm good man."I lied."Alright, down."He said hanging up.

Once my life started coming together skeletons started coming out my closest.
