I woke up and once again August wasn't here in bed. I sighed and shook off my frustration. Ever since he found out about his sister he's been at the trap non stop. He barely comes home and if he does I'm usually at the office since people were actually hiring us to investigate things. However today school started for Darrin. August said he wanted to be the one to drop him off for his first day. I laughed thinking about it, I found it cute even tho Darrin isn't a lil kid. I rolled outta bed and walked downstairs to Darrin room. I heard his alarm going off. When I opened his room door he had just tossed his phone to the floor and turned back over covering his head
"Darrin get up"
"Mom come on just give me 10 mins pleaseeee" he pulled his cover over his head
"If I give you 10 mins you'll make it 20. Now get up" I pulled his cover off of him and opened his curtains
He sat up in his bed rubbing his eyes "I'm starting to question your love for me. Just depriving me of my sleep" he laughed and yawned
"Get ready for school" I laughed and threw his cover at his face
I was about to walk up the stairs when I heard the front door open. I turned around to see who it was and my eyes met a tired looking august

"Where have you been Aug"
"Out at the trap"
"Now just last night. All week Aug" he waved me off with his hand and I shook my head and went upstairs slamming the bedroom door. I was brushing my teeth when I heard room door open then close. I rinsed my mouth out then washed my face before stepping out the bathroom walking right into August Chest
"You big mad or you lil mad?" He chuckled
"You're drunk August. Move" I went to step around him but he grabbed my wrist tightly
"Tatiana where you going??"
"August I know you didn't just- let me go cause I really almost reached out and touch you and you not gonna like me if I start reaching" he pulled me to him hard and roughly kissed me. I could taste and smell the liquor "let Go August!!!!" I snatched away from him
He grabbed both my arms and pinned me to the wall. "Aug please let go. I really don't wanna fight you. I have to take Darrin to school"
"You not leaving. I forgave you for cheating and now you wanna leave?" His hand went around my throat "August it's me. It's zendaya. I'm not Tatiana" he grip got tighter and that's when I lost it.
I kneed him in the stomach and he doubled over. I tried to run past him but he grabbed my leg causing me to fall and I hit my face on the side of the sink before falling on the floor completely. He still had one of my legs so I kicked my foot back making it connect with his face. "Fuck" he screamed
I remembered him putting guns under the bathroom sink. I opened it and grabbed one soon as he stood up and started walking towards me. I scooted back and pointed the gun at him "August stop!!" But he kept approaching me. I clicked the safety off "Aug please!!!" I knew I was crying
