A few weeks have passed since I last went to that cat cafe together with my friend and new friends. We constantly talked in the group chat as well as in school whenever we saw each other. My days in school has gotten a lot better ever since I met Woojin.
I still don't like going home though,in fact the times I spend at home has all somehow gotten even worse. My dad has been drinking more resulting in him being more violent and loud. The days ends with me being locked in my room or escaping whenever I get the chance to. His hits has increased as well so I usually cry myself to sleep late at night. If I can't sleep,then I mostly call Woojin for some decent conversations to keep my mind off of things even if it's just for a while.
Lately I've been looking at different apartment complexes near our school but the problem is that the prizes are way too high. I'd never be able to get out of here,I thought. I figured that it would feel a little better if I talk to the others about it.
Woojin and I met up and walked to school together,talking about sports and school until we got into the topic of fruits. "Why are we talking about fruits?" I asked. Woojin laughed and shrugged, "I don't know but it was fun!" After that he continued to laugh,probably recalling what we said about fruits. Honestly,this is what I mean by forgetting negative things when I'm hanging out with Woojin.

After all of our morning classes,it was finally time for lunch. Our friend group met up at our usual table and sat down with our trays on the table. Jinyoung immediately started talking about random stuff with Daehwi joining in a little here and there. "Am I the only one who doesn't understand what he's even on about?" I heard a whisper,it was Woojin. I giggled and responded with; "You're not alone!"
Daehwi brought up a topic about cafes as well as..dorms? That's when I remembered what I had in mind ever since this morning. I brought it up and then Daehwi said something that made me think for a while. He said; "Why don't you apply for work somewhere?" Jinyoung nodded in agreement and Woojin promised to help me search for a job later today. "Jihoon you should eat,you've barely touched your food yet and we still have a few classes left." Woojin reminded me. "Oops,I forgot about it." "It's not like your chicken is gonna hurt you!" We both laughed it off and continued eating until class started again.
