burning buildings

The crackling laugh of flames consuming everything in its path
Howling evil sparks through the wooden structure now completely submerged in fire
Pure destruction, yet creating a spectacular sight of beauty for such a short time before the warmth is drowned with overtaking moonlight, revealing nothing but ash and the hints of a building that used to be
Those around never forgetting the everlasting agony of screams muffled by cackles of red
Chandeliers ever-falling
Windows bursting at the seams melting away with such fiery passion daring to ravage the night sky with such pollution, yet the smoke calling signals for more eyes on the most sore sight
Everything will soon be forgotten once the ground is covered in white from the cold and daring night away from eyes and no longer on the mind until history will hopefully be repeated and covered again
Creating yet another poem to be written and read
Maybe next time the words on the page will burn as well
Leaving nothing but memories
