AYO
"Ayo can I talk to you?"I don't want to do this again. I don't want to hear her excuses. I don't want to believe anything she wants to say. Yet I agree.
She leads us out of the cafeteria.
"What?" I say to her emotionless.
"Ayo, I can explain what happened. I was kind off drunk ,I mean you know that how easily drunk I get. I can't survive the break up. We've been through too much for us to give up now over some stupid mistake I made and I apologize okay. I'm sorry. I can't live without you babe." She takes my hand in hers hard. "I'm so fucking sorry."
I couldn't bear to look at her with the tears brimming her eyes threatening to spill. I loved her and I still do but I can't believe what she is saying. My trust has been destroyed too many times before and the only part left is what I gave her and she severed it. I need to rescue the leftover.
I remove my hand from hers slowly.
"That's what you said the last time. This isn't the first time, I forgave you before and now you do it again and with a brother this time.I can't do this. Not again. We're done. For good."
I walk away not turning back. I hear something like a sob escape her lips but I don't look back, I can't look at her face again or else I would take her back.

"Good morning students, everyone move to the gym in an orderly manner. The principal would like to address all students. Now. Thank you." The receptionist voice sounds through the speakers.
The teachers start moving us.
I see Jason and Hazel on one of the bleachers. I join them.
"Hazel." I greet. "Babe." I say to Jason.
"Hey honey." He says back.
"This will never get old. I love it when you call each other those names." Hazel laughs. She's a really pretty girl, it's sad that she has such a low level of confidence.
"Dudes, Hazel." Mason greets as he seats beside me.
We acknowledge him before the principal starts talking.
"Good morning students of Fallwood High School. I am sorry for interrupting your first period but something drastic has happened that needs to be addressed." He pauses causing all forms of noise to cease. "A student by the name of Charlotte Kain in year eleven has been reported to be dead."
I can't breathe.
"She allegedly commited suicide yesterday night through drug overdose."
A loud cry echos through the gym. Megan rushes out of the gym obviously weeping. A female teacher goes after her.
"This is a very sad situation, if anyone needs to talk to the counselor you will be excused from your classes to do so. Please if you have things on your mind always remember that there are people you can talk to, teachers ,your parents, adults, the counselor. You are not alone."
Hazel reaches over to hold my hand. She squeezes it. I turn my head to face her, she looks at me sadly. She doesn't let go.
"Classes will go on. You are free to leave the gymnasium now."
I don't move. I can't. She's dead, she's really dead.
The gym empties itself but Jason, Mason and Hazel don't go anywhere.
"Dude you okay?" Jason asks. "Stupid question. I'm sorry man." He scolds himself.
"I'm sorry Ayo." Hazel squeezes my hands again.
