   "What do you expect to do with her? I believe she is a threat to the supernatural community. Not only is there a possibility of her murdering us but after you explain to her what you have done and the consequences, we are in danger of her voicing our secret to humans. We just can't risk it Dmitri!", A light female voice said.

     There was a sigh and a scuffle of feet, followed by scraping of a chair across the floor, before a response came.

      "Yes, I know, Thalia, but situations like this have come up, and how many times has the human failed to keep their mouth closed? None, not one time. Especially, when it comes to marking. The bond will be too strong, she eventually won't feel the need to kill any of us anymore, after a while. She won't be a threat, but for now, I advise you stay away from her, so she can figure this out." Dmitri threatened.

       Confused, I sat and listened to their argument drone on, making sure to keep my body still and eyes closed, to assure them I was still asleep. A number of times, their argument was unbelievable, and I slightly shook my head in shame, listening as the female, Thalia rose her voice and tried reasoning with Dmitri to kill me. To my advantage, Dmitri opposed.

     Unfortunately, the only information I gathered about where we were located was that we were in the middle of a forest, and I wasn't escaping.

     Who did these people think they were? If I wanted to escape, that was what I was going to thrive to accomplish.

      But until I had a plan, I let the darkness take over, and the voices fade out, leaving me to descend into a heavy sleep

       *                            *                            *

     Light burned through my eyelids and the   aroma of lavender  filled my nose as I slipped back into consciousness. There was a light tap on my shoulder and my eyes flew open, revealing a breathtaking figure. Dmitri.

      Rapidly, I sat up, knocking my head against his and wincing as his warm forehead joined mine with a loud crack. Pulling back, I rubbed my head and furrowed my eyebrows in displeasure, letting out a all grunt.

     Not meeting Dmitri's eyes, refusing to feel the paralyzing sensation, I peeked around, taking in the neutral colors painted against the wall and the black furniture lounged around me. I squinted my eyes as they passed over the bright light streaming in through the ceiling-to-floor windows, while running a hand through my tangled curls, fingers snagging on big clumps of hair. I let out a frustrated breath and turned my attention on Dmitri.

    Surprisingly, I remained in control of my mind as I met his stare, so I spoke up.

      "Where's Lucas?"

   "Oh! Your friend? He's back in your city, possibly at your house. After you passed out from shock, I made sure you were safe and then chased him down, explaining you went back to look for him. Poor thing, he didn't think twice about bolting, leaving his knife behind. ", Dmitri explained.

     I frowned and stood up, getting light-headed and stumbling backward, nearly tripping over my own feet. But Dmitri caught me and steadied me before I collapsed.

     "Get your hands off me!", I howled, shaking his arms off my waist.

       Concerned, Dmitri let his hands drop to his sides and spoke. "Rose, let me explai-", but I cut him off before he could finish.

    "No! You lied. I don't even know if Lucas made it back safely, he could have gotten mauled by a demon on the way! And you think you can keep me here? Well you can't! I will find a way out, if I have to kill someone or not.", Instinctively, I checked for my gun, which wasn't there, and I growled.
