I was starring at him, trying to understand him, he looked right on back. We just looked at each other, me admiring him, cause he was beautiful and him as if he was trying to figure something out.
I was so caught up I didn't even notice the bell had rung, until everyone had started to get up, interrupting our moments.
I cleared my throat. I packed my stuff up and pushed in my chair.
Shane was patiently waiting for me to finish. He was taking us to psychology.
As we walked, Shane showed me around, which did not help at all. There was no way I would remember it all.
I noticed people would stare and whisper as we passed. Mainly curious and shocked ones, with a few glares.
"Shane" I interrupted him. He looked down at me.
"Why are people looking at us like that?" I questioned him. He looked around at the people around us, giving them glares. They hurried by and turned their eyes away.
"They are just wondering who you are pretty girl. And why I am walking with you" he explained.
I still didn't understand, and my face showed my confusion.
He sighed. "I have few friends and none of them are like you."
I couldn't help the hurt look that came across my face at his words.
He noticed and sighed, "my friends are typically more... rough."
"Oh". I didn't know what to say, because it was true, I wasn't rough at all. I didn't like violence, and rough meant violence.
"Well, I guess now you have a soft friend" I claimed with confidence.
He smiled with amusement and nodded his head, "I guess I do."
We reached the psychology classroom, on time. We entered the classroom and I saw Vee, looking down at her phone, sitting in front row.
I quickly walked over to her and sat down next to her. She looked up and smiled when noticed it was me. She looked over my shoulder and her smile got bigger.
"Well hello there" she spoke.
I looked behind and saw that Shane had taken a seat besides me.
"Well Vee, this is Shane, my friend who has been showing me around. Shane this is Vee my best friend, but more like a sister" I introduced.
She held out her hand and he shook it, "nice to meet you" Vee said.
"You too".
The bell rang just then and the teacher walked into class. She was a short woman in her mid thirties and a big smile on her face.
"Well hello class!"
Unlike math class where we started lessons, she played an introduction game. It was speed dating, in which we had 2 minutes to meet with someone different band introduce ourselves with small talk.
There was a circle of desks, half the class was placed on the inside of the circle and half on the outside. When the teacher told us time was up, people on the outside with move clockwise.
I was sitting on the inside with Vee to my left.
It was fun. I kept peeking at Shane throughout the game and noticed that he wasn't really making an effort to introduce himself.
