Chapter 16

*Jack's P.o.v.*

It was currently 1pm as (Y/n) and I walked through the front gates to the Animal Kingdom in Disney. The sun was slightly hidden by the white fluffy clouds in the sky, so it wasn't as hot out as 'normal'.

"Hey do you want to get something to drink? I'm feeling pretty parched from all this walking." (Y/n) said whilst looking around at all the people and buildings.

"Sure that sounds great!.... what about that place over there? It looks like they have smoothies and bubble tea!" Right as I finished my sentence, her eyes lit up brightly before she pulled me over to the little hut.

It was a tad bit small but was bustling with life, the two workers constantly moving as their job was busy at this time of hour.

I walked over to the end of the line with (Y/n) right next to me, her arm wrapped nicely around mine. I watched as the kids played the nearby bongos as their parents watched, different rhythms mixing together into one jumbled sound.

"Hey we're next." (Y/n) smiled, knocking me out of my distractions. I turned my eyes over to the menu and quickly browsed it as the person in front of us ordered. With so many different selections how could you not find something you'd like?

Happy with my choice, it was finally our turn to order. "Um yes, I'd like to order a (flavor) smoothie. What about you Jack?"

"Oh uh yeah, I would like a strawberry lemonade bubble tea please." I smiled at the worker.

I gave the worker my money to pay for it and he gave us a receipt in return for when our order was ready. I gently pulled (Y/n) over to the side so other people could order while we were waiting.

I grabbed her hand in mind and entwined our fingers, feeling the love radiate from her perfect being. Just the way she looked at me gave me chills.

"Hey (Y/n). I love you very much. You know that?" I whispered in her ear, the blood rushing to her cheeks in a flash.

"Yeah.. I love you very much Jack- looks like our order is ready!"

(Y/n) walked over to the counter and grabbed our drinks, immediately taking a sip of hers right as she got it. She gently handed me mine and continued to drink her smoothie as we continued walking.

We started to talk about random things as we went along, thinking of anything on the fly to say.

I looked at my watch and noticed the time. With all of our walking and talking it was 4:30pm by now.

"Hey (Y/n), we should start to head back to the hotel. By the time we get there it'll be dinner time. We could get something at the restaurant there if that's okay with you." I sighed, stretching my arms.

"Yeah that sounds good. Macaroni and cheese sounds good right now, which I heard our hotel restaurant has the best macaroni." She giggled, excited to go eat in the nice restaurant again.

As we started to make our way to the entrance, we walked hand in hand enjoying each other's company.
