Chapter 17 (end)

*Jack's P.O.V.*

"I'll be right back, I have to use the bathroom." (Y/n) commented to me, walking away from our table. I smiled as I put my hand in my pocket, feeling the little silk box.

"I'm going to do it. Today will be the day." I whispered to myself, becoming hopeful with every moment. "Do what?" My eyes looked up to see (Y/n) back from the bathroom, looking at me with curiosity in her eyes.

"I-Oh um just trying something new on the menu.." I sheepishly responded, my face turning pink. (Y/n) looked at me suspiciously before sitting down and looking at her menu.

Time went by sort of quick, our food was delivered fast after ordering, and everything was calm. The two of us chatted, laughing over little things and overall just having fun.

"Any dessert for the two of you?" The waiter asked as he started to clear our plates from the table. "Uh yes actually, can we have the lava cake? The extra special one for proposing.." I whispered the last part to him, he nodded before walking off.

"What'd you tell him?" (Y/n) asked, becoming more suspicious of my actions. "N-Nothing dear! I'm excited to see how the lava cake will look!" I brushed her comment off, smiling while scratching the back of my neck.

We continued to chat for a couple more minutes until finally the dessert cake out, and man it looked marvelous. I fumbled with the box in my pocket as (Y/n) stared at the dessert in awe, practically stars in her eyes.

I took the opportunity and got down with one knee on the floor, taking the box out of my pocket and opening it up towards her. "J-Jack!-"

"(Y/n), I know we haven't known each other for the longest amount of time, but I've never felt this feeling I have with you before. I feel like I'm dancing on air all the time, and you overwhelm me with happiness. I just love everything about you and how much you've done for me. I don't care what the fans think, you're what matters the most to me (Y/n). Will you marry me?"

Her eyes began to tear up, a smile on her face. "Y-Yes I'll marry you!" She exclaimed. We both got up and hugged, pulling in for a kiss. Everyone around us began to clap as I put the ring on her finger.

"I love you (Y/n)." I said quietly, staring into her eyes. "I love you too Jack." She responded, a bright smile on her face.

*7 years later, 3rd person P.O.V.*

"Mommy (b/n) (boy's name) took my dolly again and won't give it back!" A little girl exclaimed, running up to her mother with tears in her eyes.

"(B/n), what did I tell you about picking on (g/n) (girl's name)? It's not nice." (Y/n) scolded as the little boy peeked from around the corner. "I'm sorry.. I took her so I could have a princess for my knights to protect..." he whispered, looking down at the ground. "It's okay dear, but how about you two play together then." She suggested, as both of her kids ran off towards the living room away from their mother.

"Honey I'm home!" A man exclaimed as he came home from the grocery store. "Hey Jack! Glad to see you returned safe! It's pretty icy outside." She responded, her husband kissing her cheek as they hugged.

"Daddy's home!!" Both kids shouted as they ran up to him, immediately hugging his legs.

"There's my twins! Did you keep mommy safe and warm today?" He asked, both the little ones nodding quickly. "Mhm! We danced!" (G/n) exclaimed, moving her body around like she was dancing.

"That's great! But how about you two go sit in the living room and play while me and mommy start dinner? It'll only take a little while." He suggested, both the kids running off to the living room to play with their toys.

"You're such a great father." (Y/n) smiled, kissing her husband's cheek. He turned slightly pink before putting his hands on her waste, staring into her eyes.

"Mm but you're a great mother and a great wife. And I wouldn't have it any other way." He responded, kissing her once more before turning to cook dinner.

The two of them cooked dinner together as they watched their two beautiful children play in the living room together, everything at peace.

It's been quite awhile since I updated this. And well yeah I'm ending it I hate to say. I hope you've somewhat enjoyed this though even though it's not one of the best books out there. Thank you for all of your time❤️
