Once again, everyone who Alois knows is here, Hannah is keeping her distance from my fiancè, which is good, I'm sure Alois doesn't want to find another housemaid if I were to kill Hannah. I'm by Alois's side the entire night, and toward the end of the party, Alois makes an announcement.

"Good evening, everyone. I'm so delighted you are able to join my lovely Lady, Emilee and I this wonderful evening. I wanted to announce that my beautiful Emilee and I  are to be married. I've waited so long for the right woman to come around, and sure enough I found her." He looks at me with newfound love, making my cheeks flush a rosy pink.

I sense Hannah's anger toward me, and I smirk a little, knowing already that she'll attempt to make Alois change his mind.

After the party, Alois and I go to our room, I strip out of my dress and put on a silky, black nightgown; I can feel Alois's eyes on me the entire time I undress. I climb into bed next to him and kiss his cheek.

"Hannah is infuriated with me," I inform.

"Why?" His sky blue eyes sparkle in the dim light from the side table.

"Because she can't have you and I can. She doesn't like the fact that I'm superior to her." I laugh softly.

He chuckles in response. "She will survive, I'm sure." he leans in and pecks my forehead. "Try to rest, my love."

I nod, laying my head on his bare chest, smiling, knowing that Alois is all mine.

~Hannah's POV~

That hybrid thinks she can just come back into my master's life after all the hell she put him through, and pretend that it's okay? Well, the engagement won't very long, I'm sure of it.

I dust and polish the fine china before making my way towards master's room. I'm hoping that she isn't in there. I am a few meters away from the door to his room when I hear a female's voice.

"I seriously hope that you aren't thinking about trying to seduce my fiance, Hannah." It's her.

I growl, turning around, seeing that hybrid wearing a black nightgown and a dark, blood red robe that belongs to my master. Her long hair is snowy white, her eyes are a glowing red color, sharp fangs poke through in between her lips.

"This won't last long, vampyr." I snarl.

"Well, your services won't be lasting any longer, Miss Hannah." A devious smirk spreads across her pale face.

I growl, "Master made a grave mistake engaging himself with a monster like you." I clench my fists, my body shaking with rage.

She chuckles, "Like you're any better than me, demon." She waved her hand to the side, causing my body to fly into the nearest wall, "Alois is mine, got that? He chose me, not you; you were only a temporary fling, I am the more permanent thing he's got." The devious smile spread across her face some more.

I struggle to break free of her binding spell, causing her to laugh.

Her red eyes gleam in the dim light of the hall, "I will say this one last time, demon. Stay away from Alois, understand? If not," she flashes her fangs at me, "I will not hesitate to drain you of your blood." She releases her bind on me and my body drops to the floor.

The hybrid struts back into the Master's room, locking the door behind her. I growl in envy, gaining the attention of Claude.

His dark, golden eyes bore into mine as he holds his gloved hand for me to take, "Did Lady Emilee go after you again, Miss Hannah?"

I scoff, "Master doesn't know what kind of hideous monster that hybrid truly is, does he, Claude?" I cross my arms.

He nods. "She's quite open with what she is with young lord, he's  wanting her and me to duel for him sometime in the near future."

That gives me a brilliant idea.

"Let's have that duel in the next afternoon. Then, just maybe then, he will see the kind of horrific monster she really is underneath that innocent facade." I smirk.

Claude's facial expression stays stoic, "I will bring it up to young lord in the morning." He walks away, most likely to finish his surveillance around the Manor.

I sigh, glancing in the direction of the Master's room before going to my own chambers.

~Emilee's POV~

I wake up in the early morning, Alois's arm draped over my torso; I carefully get out of the bed and put on tight black, thin leggings, a dark grey sports bra and a black thin jacket over it. I slip on my black running shoes and grab my phone and earbuds, securing them in my ears, I leave the room through the window after leaving a note for Alois. I begin my morning run and listen to Linkin Park and Sleeping With Sirens; an hour or so has passed when I decide to return to the Trancy Manor, I run and jump back through the bedroom window effortlessly and quietly.

Alois is awake when I jump into the window, his arms engulf my body into a tight hug, surprising me in the very least.

"Welcome back, my love." He whispers softly, making me smile.

"Good morning to you, too, Alois." I giggle.

"Did you enjoy your run?" He caresses my cheek ever so gently.

I nod, "I'm shocked that I still remember my way around the property." I chuckle slightly.

That makes him laugh a bit, "you should go bathe, we have so much to do in very little time."

"Very well," I take my sneakers off and my jacket, sliding into the bathroom, turning the water on steaming hot--to relax my sore and tense muscles.

I wash my hair and then my body, shaving and pampering my being thorough. Afterward, I wrap a towel around my slender body and exit the sauna-like bathroom. I go to the large closet of an outfit of purpose, so, I choose a pair of dark, blood red skinny jeans, a black simple blouse with no sleeves and a pair of black knee-length boots. I brush and blow dry my long hair, deciding to transform into my true form: my vampyr form. I straighten and leave my waist-length snow-white hair down, I do my makeup simple: eyeliner, mascara, and chapstick. I exit the bedroom and go down to the dining hall, where I see Alois, Hannah, Claude, and the triplets. Hannah seems to be smirking at me as I enter; I glare and use one of the many "gifts" I have as a vampyr: Mind Control. I make her slap herself, making me giggle.

As I sit next to Alois, his hand is placed on my knee, he continues to eat his food ever so painfully slowly. I watch him, and one of the triplets, Timber, sets a large glass of blood in front of me. I thank him and begin to drink it, taking note of its uncontaminated, sweet and tangy taste.

"So, my love, Claude suggested that he and you should have a duel. How you feel about that?" Alois breaks the silence.

I put my glass down and look directly at Claude, seeing Hannah standing behind him; I smirk. "When's the duel?" I say, eager to take down the demon butler and possibly that slutty housemaid as well.
