Rose has curly hair and it’s getting long. However, her bangs are just not getting their act together and getting with the program. About half of the time, she refuses to let me pull it up. Fine, it’s your face walking into walls, not mine.
She just came to me and asked me to put her hair into a ponytail. Sure, no problem.
M: how high do you want it?
R: *taps the top of her head in the middle* right there!
M: Ok baby, let me scoop up your bangs. (This is the best way to get her hair out of her face)
R: Okay!
M: There, now you can see better. Isn’t the world a beautiful place?
R: Yeah. So pretty! I see the pool, please please please?
M: Of course, go look and then please go back inside.
R: Oooo! Pretty! Thank you! *runs inside*
Its amazing how something so small as hair being moved out of your face can change the way you see things. I wish more people could see the world as beautiful if only they would get their hair out of their eyes.
