Red is for Revenge

Chapter 12

They dragged me out into the living room area and forced me to sit on the couch while Raph sat nearby and watched. Leo stood over me staring me down like I was a bad dog, but at the same time I saw a flash of something else in his eyes. It was very quick before his gaze returned back to the bad dog one. He was making me uncomfortable. I looked over a Raph who was going to stand up but Donatello kept him firmly in place on the chair. Raphael looked like he was starting to get angry. Master Splinter stood nearby to make sure nothing went to far as Mikey stood behind Leo. Mikey looked sympathetic from where he stood but sometimes Leo would turn to look at him to make sure he was being just as disappointed in me.

"So tell me what happened again just one more time," Leo said his katana was held in his hand. It glinted in the light menacingly. He kept staring at me like I had done something terribly wrong. I still couldn't place his look though. I thought about it for a moment. Then the answer came to me when he raised it up a little, resting the sharp edge above my knee and more on my thigh when I didn't answer him because my eyes were watching his weapon. "Eleanor," he spoke calmly but I felt the edge of the blade press harder into my thigh. Luckily, this suit was extra strength. What I was seeing was a mixture of lust and need for power.

I gulped before looking up at him once more. My eyes darted towards Master Splinter silently asking him not to let Leo keep this up, "It is exactly like I said earlier. Do I really need to repeat myself again?"

"Yes you do," Leo's blade pressed a little harder. I saw Raph's nostrils flair. He knew what Leo was doing and he didn't care for it.

"Well Raph and I were walking down the hallway and we went into my room 'cause I wanted to show him something I had been working on. We started talking about things that had happened recently and here was a perfect moment where I kissed him. He kissed me back and there was this bright light that would have blinded me if my eyes were open. When I opened my eyes he was as he is now, a human." I looked up at Leo and he still didn't seemed pleased with the answer I gave. I however didn't have to suffer through it because at that moment Raphael pushed Donatello to the ground. Everyone turned to look at him including Leo. This gave me time to disarm him with a swift kick to the wrist and catch the katana he dropped. "What I am telling you is the truth. I wouldn't lie in a situation like this. What we need to do now is focus on returning Red back to normal. I think there might be something in some of my books. Donnie could probably also do some research."

Leo was about to rush at me when Mikey grabbed him and held him back. Raphael was standing overtop of Donnie. I whistled to get his attention and to tell him to stop attacking. I looked over at Splinter, "Master Splinter if you would like me to leave and never come back I will but I don't think you can turn Red back into a turtle or learn how to do it on command without my help."
That's when I saw Leo break free of Mikey's grip. I heard Mikey shout no before I had time to react Leo bowled into me with the force of a wrecking ball. I hit the floor with a thud and an earsplitting smack. Then my forearms were on either side of my head and a fuzzy looking Leo was looming over me. I heard the sound of running footsteps and a weight being lifted off me. Someone was repeating my name over and over as they caressed my head, "Ellie! El, baby, please stay with me! You can't leave me now."    

Author's Note:

I might need to tone down on Leo a little bit cause he seems a little OOC and I'm sorry about that. I always adapt the characters to how I view them and I thought Leo kind of fit that part. Sorry if you don't like it. The next chapter won't be narrated by El. I think I'm going to do another 3rd person pov chapter. Those of you who are itching for a Raph themed chapter let me know by dropping me a comment either on the story or on my profile. I hope you enjoyed it and that it isn't to cookie cutter and cliche since this is my first fanfiction. I just like my strong female characters.
