Margot
A ceaseless worry filled the pit of my stomach as I continued to pace in Lachlan's room. It was 1:30 in the morning and he still hasn't come back. My eyes dart to the hole in the wall and the picture frame that still lay on the ground.
As I'm putting it back up the door cracks open and boots thud against the hardwood floor, "You should be sleeping, Margot."
"You had me worried. Where were you?"
"Don't worry about me, tiny dancer. I was fine without you and I'll continue to be fine. Go to bed." He gestures to the room and begins untying his boots.
"Where will you sleep?" I ask, fiddling with my hands.
"Down the hall, this is the bed that's made. Oh, and I won't sleep in here with you unless you ask me to." He says.
My eyes widen when he suddenly pulls his shirt up and over his head, revealing a ripped torso and muscled pecs that flex with his every move.
"You could have warned me, Lachlan!" I screech, moving my hands to cover my eyes.
"Stop being shy. If all goes to plan you'll be seeing much more then this, that's for sure."
"Says you."
"Open your eyes Margot." I gasp when I feel his breath fan my cheek.
I shake my head.
He tisks, "Your loss. You'll see all of me soon enough." I hear his footsteps leave and door opening, then closing.
When I open my eyes the room was empty, and soon I hear a shower turning on. I sigh and sit on the bed, falling back. My eyes flutter, sleep taking over me. Just as I crashed, I could have sworn I heard a faint, "Margot." moaned from the bathroom.
I stir awake, and startle at the sight of Lachlan's chocolate brown eyes staring deep into mine. He throws clothes at me, "Get dressed."
"What, where am I going?"
"We are going to Winnipeg, I have an official re-crowning with the previous Alpha of Canada. I must bring my Luna or the Originals won't take me seriously."
"What part of Canada are we in?"
"Edmonton."
I get up and make my way towards the bathroom, but Lachlan's eyes meet mine from the bureau mirror, "You don't need to change in there, Margot. I won't peak."
"Shouldn't I get a shower?" I mutter.
"No time for it. But take my word for it when I say you smell fucking delicious."
I slowly turn my back to his, before slowly slipping the overlarge tee shirt off, "Who changed me?" I ask.
"A maid." I felt his eyes burning on my back, and shivered at the tone of his voice.
All that I was left in were my panties from the party. If I wanted to, I could show Lachlan just what he seemed to want. Why did I want to?
"Put that shirt on Margot, before I throw you to that wall and make you cry because of all the right reasons."
A heat forms in my core and my breasts come to attention. Why did I want that?
I do as he says though, quickly pulling on the blouse. I pick up the black jeans and slip them on in record time, buttoning them with shaky fingers.
We leave the room quickly and I watch Lachlan pick up two duffel bags.
"How long will we be gone?"
"Two days and one night." He answers, throwing a look at me from over his shoulder.
