———-Twelve hours. Abdiel must of fallen asleep.
We asked for hourly check ups. Hourly.
Cade and I were in charge of reporting what was happening and over the last twelve hours we simply were smiling at the others, telling them that it's all going okay. We tried to force ourselves to believe that the juice plan didn't work out and that he had to try something else.
Yet, I couldn't fool myself.
What else was he going to do? Knock her out?
I walked over to Cade, placing my hand on his shoulder to get him to crouch slightly. He was a good four inches taller than me.
"Now we should worry." I hissed quietly. I took a step back, scanning the people around me right after I spoke. I saw a few questioning glances in our direction but they quickly looked away.
Cade got back to his original height, now looking down at me. He never could pass up the opportunity to do so when he was a bit angry.
He shot glares at me, trying to get me to shut up. I simply shook my head. We had to consult with everyone, starting with my mother.
Renegade operations are in different pin points of the state. Regular citizens hide their anti-government intentions behind their cover name of a bakery of sorts or small local store. My mother and a few of her close friends ran one of the biggest groupings of rebels of the inner state.
I closed my eyes for a brief moment. This could be detrimental. My mother could send a search party for them. We might put more lives on the line. So many people have already been lost.
Just as I was about to walk up to my mother, I heard Cade's phone ring. My neck whipped to the side to look at Cade, silently asking him with my piercing eyes if it was Abdiel. He nodded rapidly right before gesturing with his hand for me to get over to him.
I jogged up to him just as he answered the phone. For a good five seconds it was silent.
Unexpectedly we heard a feminine voice. The tone of voice she held lacked any sort of emotion and only conveyed pure anger."I've got your son. What the fuck do you think you're doing?"

My breaths began to quicken, my body starting to heat up. I wanted to get up and run. I wanted to run away, so far that nobody would ever be able to find me.
Nobody will find me.
My hands grasped at my head, entangling into my long wavy brown hair. My body began to curl into a ball, falling onto it's side gently as I cradled myself.
Was it all a lie? Why was it a lie?
I didn't want to go into a coma, but it was one of the many things I was warned about all of my life.
After the seven days of hell comes the coma.
People who stopped taking the pill disappeared into the hospital. Usually after two weeks or so of family not being able to visit, doctors inform them that the patient has slipped away. There has been cases however where people did survive. No one ever has if it's been longer than half a month though.
I barely could hold in the violent screams which begged me to be let out.
My fingers trailed down my face, putting pressure on my cheeks and corners of my eyes. My breathing gradually became slower and calmer as I let my eyes shut. They were a dark violet color.
