AMY'S POV

"Hey Sally, can I share you something like my own secret. You can be trusted right?"

"We've been childhood friends Amy. Good thing that you have a secret because I have a secret to tell you too. To be fair, let's hear out secrets our so if one of us tried to tell it to someone we can use our secrets as a blackmail. That's easy." She said that makes me laugh.

"Ok, then I will hear you out."

"Nah, let's say it together." She said as I nodded in response and both of us sighed.

"I LIKE SONIC!" She said I both said in unison that makes us looked at each other with a shock.

"I-It's just a joke Amy!" She laughed and her red face started to go back to normal and continue to cook our food.

I just bowed and play with my fingers while Sally was humming a song.

I know she's not joking. Even if Sonic and her spent time to each other often... I can see that she really like him.

I think about myself... I am childish and not matured like my other classmates. I'm not good at cooking and I'm not a girl who actually acts elegantly ang polite. I was hyper and talkative and not all the boys likes a type of girl like me.

While Sally? She's beautiful, kind, elegant and matured. She can cook, bake, make household chores. She was old fashioned and ladylike. Quiet and smart too.

It's not that bad if the two of us liked Sonic. Like - means have a crush and you admired a person because of who he is.

"Hey Sally, I know that's not a joke." I said seriously as she looked at me with a small smile. She's done to our food and prepared it in front of the table.

"Amy, I swear it's just a prank." She chuckle and I just look at her in the eye. Her blue eyes shifted to another direction, trying to avoid am eye contact with me.

She sighed in defeat that makes me give her a small smile.

"Well it is better to be honest than to lie. I can't keep secrets ya' know. Well actually I like him since the day he helped me from my activities in school. He may not be a smart one but Sonic is... Different to describe. So you can hear my point of view Amy? My feelings for him can fade away." She said.

"Huh? Why?" I asked her with confusion that makes her give me a smile.

"If you have feelings for him. I can sacrifice and let him go. For you... I don't want you to see me as his rival. I want the three of us to stay the same and I don't want our relationship to end. I love both of you guys." She said that makes my heart melt.

"I have the same reason why I like Sonic too. But I guess, I don't want you to be like that for me Sally. You like Sonic so why are you stopping it? Why don't we keep this a secret to him?"

"This is my only secret that I shared to you. I am glad that you're not angry at me because I have feelings for him. Finally there is no more to hide now! But. Of course I agree with you. We can keep our secrets okay? Promise." She said as she raised her pinky finger and that makes me laugh. I raise my hand too, connecting my finger to her.

Sally, She's everything to me and all I can do to repay her is to do my best at school for me to remain my high grades. I am good at academics.

I get my phone as I dialed Sonikku's phone number. Well I can't call Sonic as big brother or Sonic Onii-chan, I love to call Sonic by my made up nickname Sonikku. I don't like to call him Sonic-Kun. It's just weird for me to pronounce it because Sonikku's name is mature like Sally.

"Konichiwa!" I said on the phone as I heard his manly chuckle.

"Hi Ames!"

"So... How was first year of collage?"

"It was good, but I feel kinda lonely when you and Sally were not here. You guys promised after the two of you graduated at our old school, the two of you will enter the same university where I go right?"

"That really is a promise Sonikku. So how's work?" I asked.

"As the cafe's waiter at Saturday and Sunday while a bartender every weekend at night? Well I don't have much time to do my homework and projects but during the break of my work I can manage to do them easily. Wait, before you ask me I should I you. How are you and Sally?" He asked.

"Sally is going on 1st year college and she said she'll never break our promise. She wants to be with you and she wants me to be with you guys either. After I finished my highschool I'm going in there and follow you guys." I said.

"That's great! So hey, I'll hung up now. I need to go back to work."

"Don't stress yourself too much and take care okay!" I said as I heard him laugh on the other side.

"Don't worry lil' sis! I am perfectly fine in here. Hearing your voice can boost my energy. As a good friend that is your responsibility too! Hey, take care okay?" He said.

"O-Okay... Bye, I Love-"

Before I say it I am so thankful that Sonikku ended the phone call.

"Oh my gosh! That can't be right! I can't confess to him like that! Remember Amy Rose... Sally and you made a promise and that promise is to keep your feelings by yourself okay!? Don't break the promise!" I said as I fakely slapped myself.

"Huh?" I looked back when I saw Sally looking at me with a weird face.

"Why are you slapping yourself?" She asked me.

"Have you gone crazy?"

"What?! No!" I repeatedly shrugged my head to her in response. Goodness! Seeing someone who just slapped her face can really think that girl is out of her mind. And that girl that she's referring to is me!

"Then why are you hurting yourself? Are you planning to go on a suici-"

"That's too far for me to do that act Sally. I'm not planning to do that in my life." I said as she sighed in relief.

"Oh thank goodness. But wait, are you alright?" She asked me.

"I am totally fine!" I chuckled.
