Me and Zane went upstairs. We were laughing really hard after the previous scene went down. As we passed Garroths door, we could hear talking and arguing. Me and Zane just laughed again. Which caused everything to go quiet again....

We just hurried over to his room and closed the door. Resuming our game and I, obviously won. I mean, why wouldn't I?
"Congrats, again..." Zane said.
"What? Jealous?" I teased. He only smirked.
"No."
"Sure~..." I said.
"Why? You like me losing?" He asked.
"I mean, it's quite enjoyable winning! Not that you'd know what it feels like to win against me in FORTNITEEEE!" I teased again.
"Oh you're on!" He said.
We layed back and started another game. We were playing with the Xbox so, it was easy. Zane got so close to winning. But then he put his arm around me.

I layed into him and he happened to win. "HEADSHOT!" He yelled causing me to laugh.
We heard shuffling from outside the door, but ignored it. We started our last round.
"And~YES! YOU LOSEEEEE!" I yelled at Zane, standing up and jumping.
He laughed and stood up. He put down his controller and looked at me. Then smiled.
"But did I really lose? That's the question."
"What-" I was stopped before I could go on any further. I was defiantly given an answer though. An unexpected answer...
Zane kissed me.
When he pulled away, I just stood there in shock. It was like time slowed down and it was just us. Only us. I took the time to choke out some words.
"W-why me? There's a-all these other g-girls, but y-you l-l-like me?" I asked, stuttering over my words.
"You're different. Spirited.Bold. Smart.Fascinating.Adventurist.Beautiful.Exhilarating. Need I go on?" He said.
"N-no....I g-g-got the point." I huffed out. Okay. That's what he was pointing at earlier. He likes me...
The next move would be most important for our relationship we've been building...
I leaned back in and kissed him.
